How long did they grow in the spot before you moved them?

in general, freshly transplanted fruit trees, shrubs , or even perennials struggle when fruiting flowerin IME,

-I would reduce the young fruits to a bare minimum (as a taster), the plant wants to set seeds, and "can die after reaching that goal".

Removing fruits/ seeds changes the plants hormones and triggers growth of regular shoots/wood and roots.

IMO kiwis are not heavy feeders. Good soil is important, I would mulch them, water them deeply in intervals and hold back any other fertilizer.

if really moved just this year, my guess is that they are adapting and struggeling to regrow roots.

I move them in very early spring. One of them was just purchased, three of them are in their second year, and the one that's fruiting now I bought three years ago. All of them were bought grafted as small vines. None were ever pruned by me. I'm primarily interested in trying to get the three females as much growth as possible. I'm going to have to move them all again at the end of season, and that should be the last move to the permanent location.

I mainly don't want to kill them with overfertilization, but I don't want to get poor growth, otherwise there's no point.

IME you need to be somewhat patient. They need to put roots down first, then they can produce growth/shoots, later flowers.

if you move them again this fall, dont expect miracles next spring

mulch them, add organic matter in the top soil

water deeply in intervalls

get a book to handle the waiting time

after they put down their roots you probably wish for a chain saw to battle new shoots...

I have three plants in their second year. New growth this year about a hand span. Soil not great yet, dry, hot summer so far...
