So how many C&S GWers can meet in San Diego on Saturday, May 12th
Comments (5)Penny, It lits the most recent (which is just past) or the upcoming one, I guess. The second Saturday of the month is how I arrived at the May date. I trust that hasn't changed (they say they're doing better since I left, so maybe so...)....See MoreLimited size on copy and paste?
Comments (7)Yep, tried drag and drop, no good. This isn't a "show stopper", I can always download the update again on the second computer, or use a memory stick to physically carry the patch between computers. This may be my action, I have two additional computers to update. I now see the subject update is now available on MS Update along with Framework SPs, totaling over 600 Mbytes. In any case, my interest remains on figuring out why I can't copy a large file over my home Ethernet, but I can copy smaller files, e.g., 5 MBytes...i.e., the Ethernet seems to be working....See MoreCopy and Paste
Comments (10)"Yes, it works in word or outlook, but try to paste it in a message on the forum or an email. It has something to do with html. I don't pretend to understand but seems to be a known problem." Some forums don't let you paste images directly into them. For those, you need to upload an image to a hosting site like photobucket or imageshack and link to the image in the forum. I'm not sure I understand how pasting in email is different from pasting in outlook, since outlook is an email client....See MoreIs there a way to quickly bookmark - or copy/paste all open tabs?
Comments (6)Wow. These are great alternatives. I'm trying them all out. The Bookmark Current Tab Set is very handy - simple - and just what I want to do. I actually downloaded all three bookmark addons that Raven recommended. I'm experimenting with them to see where they place things. I was easily able to bookmark all open tabs from 3 different computers - so I can play around with it this weekend. Jean - I had no idea that there was also a simple drop down option. I just have to see where that puts the bookmarked tabs. Raven - are there any icons that will allow me to place those bookmark add-ons where I can access them with one click. Right now I'm going to the Bookmarks menu - clicking - then clicking the option. I know that's just one more step, but I figured there's likely to be an icon I can just put on my the top (can't believe I'm blanking on the name of that - not the tool bar per se but one of the lines about - like where the file - edit= view - history - bookmarks, tools - help menus are. I have various icons for other addons - like firefox showcase, adblock plus, Wot, Outwit. Is this a matter of whether the add-on develops include an icon to add? Or is there a way I can add one (I didn't see it in options for these addons and don't remember how I got the icons I already have). Thanks. Lynn....See Morealbert_135 39.17°N 119.76°W 4695ft.
