Busy tile floor, what color/pattern granite counters?

I recently replaced my kitchen flooring with a busy tile. While I love the tile, I am realizing that I should have chosen something with less movement since I had wanted a splashy granite. I'm now concerned most granite might create way too much chaos/busy-ness in my kitchen.

Should I go with a quartz? A black? It's not my favorite, but between the busy floor and the honey oak cabinets (I'm keeping), I'm at a loss. I have seen many house listings that had simultaneously busy floor and busy countertops that looked great, I'm confused at the design elements that people used to make it work. Once I figure out my countertops, I need to figure out my backsplash with respect to the same dilemma presented above. Argh!

I'm keeping the cream colored appliances for now, so whatever I choose needs to match those, but will ideally also match stainless steel appliances. Complicated situation I've found myself in...

Any ideas are welcome. I am open to non-granite options as well.
