A few this morning

The wedding is not til tonight, so I have a few minutes to post. Starting on the mid-lates now. Also the trend has continued that my flowers have more color than ever this year. Still leaning to the idea that the pine straw much has done this.

Acclaim

Brave World. Nice but is always a bit low on the bud count.

Hyperion one of the best scented daylilies. Lots of scapes & buds to come

Malaysian Monarch is short this year but I had split and moved it.

Red Volunteer

Lake Norman Spider clump was very visible today since Karen's Curls didn't have many blooms today. You can still see one peaking into the photo. KC still has a huge number of buds even though it has already given me an amazing show again. I may need to consider moving Lake Norman and leaving that spot blank next year.

Lake Norman Spider looks really good. I always like Brave World, and I actally have it. It is blooming now, which is late for me. All look nice. Enjoy the wedding.

Really nice ones today. My favorites are the clump shots, hope to see more of Karen's Curls.i,like the color on Brave World.

The tree cutters came and picked up all the debris. They did a good job, but got our neighbor angry because they came through their driveway to get to the vacant lot next door. They had cut an enormous limb that had fallen over there. They left some ruts in the yard, so I had to do some tall apologizing, etc. Our pest control man came this afternoon and identified the flying demons as metallic beetles. They were all over the trees, and he said they were after the sap that was oozing after having the branches trimmed. They were dive-bombing me while he was here. I had to wear a hat today to keep them out of my hair. He'll be back next week to spray for them. This post disappeared this morning, but I see it is back on the forum again. I hope I don't have any more problems with Photobucket. Nancy

Not protected at all Nancy...that big bed does not even get watered (Except by Rain) and it is in full sun...it is about 100 foot long bed by about 12 feet wide..I keep the "Less Expensive" ones in that bed...LOL Heck the soil is like concrete too...LOL oh well....they enjoyed that brief but extremely hard downpour.....Thank you all again for the very kind comments......:) Here are a few more...of course still just a Kodak Moment....ROTFL...I can't seem to figure out how to transfer the Pic Files from the Nikon Program to photo bucket...oh well....maybe tonight I'll get "Lucky"..;) Kodak says: A Nice one that Jan was very nice to share with me....gotta appreciate the kindness....Thanks Jan..it's Purdy! FFO An oldie from days forgotten...... A gorgeous old Munson...I wish I could capture the true colour of this one...you have to see it to believe it... You have some nice ones there. For entertainment purposes, just keep your eye on Chicago Peace. Sometimes it will revert back to Peace in a flower. Sometimes it will be half Chicago Peace and half Peace. Occasionally sport roses will do that. I have seen that with Chicago Peace and also my Winchester Cathedral which can revert back to Mary Rose. It is interesting to see that when it happens.

SAMARITAN WORLD PEACE NOT PRAIRIE LASS... gotten from Heirloom... dunno who it is?? And a few chickie pics... Frederika with Gertie on the side... Josephine getting all pissy with Grizzie because she pushed her off the nesting box. Not like there aren't 11 more to choose from. Usually they all fight over the one in the opposite corner, but the last few days, it's been the one by the door. Go figure.. Silly birds... So Josephine tries this one, but doesn't like it, gets down... Laid her egg in Grizzie's spot later in the day apparently... Morticia.. hopped up on the rice straw bale to see what Mom's doing... gets distracted by a bug... They're such goofballs...

Your camera does a good job picking up red colors. Brave World is such a pretty blend of colors, and Red Volunteer looks vibrant............Maryl

Brave New World is interesting because of its colors. Lake Norman Spider makes a pretty clump.
