A lovely little pond I sometimes walk around, it's nearby. That's a senior's care home in the background - they have a great view!

Comments (22)Gazania, Teddy was 27. I had him for almost 7 years. I rode him on our trails behind the farm where he lived. He was in great shape most of the time I had him. He developed COPD last year and I could still ride him in the fall, winter and spring. But this spring he developed cancer, so I retired him to live happily with his 10 friends in their 33 acre pasture. It is a 100 acre farm with about 40 horses on it. I never would have thought I would be back riding horses at my age (64) but it has been so much fun. I have a really nice group of friends and one is letting me ride her horse when she can't come out. I'm grateful for that. Teddy was a character. He loved people and coffeecake! :) He had a lot of personality and was a favorite on the farm. He will be missed for sure. Thanks for asking about him. Comments (20)Thanks. I haven't been posting here as regularly as I had in the past. So now sometimes when I do, I get carried away. It was pretty easy to take fabulous pictures on the island of Madeira. Almost anywhere you looked there would a stunning view. And you could then turn 180 degrees in that spot and have a different wonderful view. Between my 35mm film camera and my wife's small digital camera we came home with nearly 800 photos....See More
