I find this sorta funny. Found this used Camry on the Mercedes dealership website. It shows there are "19" pictures...3 pictures of the car and the rest the fancy dealership LOL

I don't know if you're interested in that car or not, but the price asked is probably double what it should be. I wonder what a MB dealership is doing with a 14 year old Toyota on its used car lot.

That is funny. They didn't even bother to clean the inside before taking a pic of it. They're probably just listing it at a riduculous price until they can send it off to auction. PASS!!!!!

febc synthetic oil is less prone to breakdown under high heat conditions. It sounds as though you have a airflow thru the radiator problem. Have you cleaned the radiator fins and checked your cooling fan for proper operation? I would probably concentrate on that area instead of changing to a synthetic oil, the stuff is expensive and really not much better than regular oil, the key to a high mileage engine is proper maintenance, when you have a overheating problem you best repair it immediately, your engine will not last very long if overheats no matter what oil you run in it.

The Renault would be very unlikely to get into the country.They have not been imported into the US for about 25 years now. Since they have not had to pass safety tests or emissions tests they have no history with the feds. The BMW may be able to get in as they are regularly imported and yours can easily pass the 49 states emission test. California has the strictest rules about emissions so that could be a problem.

Maybe some thing in all of this will help.

***SIGH*** I hear you! Where I "used" to live in PA,we could go away for a week and let the door unlocked.Here...we had to put up locked gates because the freaks back the alley have teenagers that think it's ok to walk in my carport and take...my lawnmower and our tools when they need money.We learned the hard way that this isn't our small hometown....now we lock everything up.Wonder what the kids back the alley are doing for money these days? Brats! Then they come past and say"good Evening" real sweet! Grrrrr! The neighbor saw them taking my stuff ,I should have called the cops but he wasn't SURE which kid it was.There are about 5 of them back there.More on any given day. Cops are always back there.Only bad family on our street! (Of course there's only 5 houses here counting the one on the corner.)

Elmer, the dealership probably gave the owner a $200 trade-in allowance towards the purchase of a Mercedes. I donated my Camry to charity before I bought my Lexus.

Most cars dealerships take in trade are sent off to auction. I would have thought that a MB dealership wouldn't have wanted a car like that even on their lot.

I dealt with a BMW dealership on the SF Peninsula that's also part of the Penske group as is this dealership in SD. I bought a new car and not a used one but I can assure you nothing like that was on their lot.
