Growth potential for these? Earth Angel, Frances Williams, Blue Hawaii
Comments (10)I have a couple of Frances Williams. By keeping them in full shade, they have done well. “Burning” is something I see early in the spring. By now, there is hardly a mark on them. The new Frances Williams will go in a part of the new bed that never gets any direct sun, either. I actually have 4 tiny Olive Bailey Langdon that were bought bareroot this spring. They each have 2-3 very small leaves. I don’t know how long they might take to grow to an actual "visible" size. They are in the area where I want to put one of the new potted ones. I may move them out, but I might be better off leaving them alone for a year or two first. It’s not like they will be encroached upon in a hurry. Or vice versa....See MoreFrances Williams, Olive Bailey Langdon
Comments (4)Great deal Jon. I have FW and love her. It is quite sunny today so I stacked some pots close by to give her a little shade. She is fine once the mulberry leads out but until then gets too much morning sun. My OBL is new so no comments on that one. Tokudama Flavocircinalis is very similar as well and it is one of my favourites....See MoreFrances William Or earth angel

Comments (3)Beautiful! FW is a nice hosta when it's in the right site, which appears to be the case with yours. Mine does well underneath a huge tree as long as it waits for the tree to leaf out before it unfurls....See Morekay21_utahzone5b
