Questions: Asbestos Tile & Black Mastic Cutback Removal

Hello!

So when getting ready to replace the flooring in our new home we found suspected asbestos tiles and mastic. We sent samples of the tile off for testing and they came back hot for asbestos, the mastic however did not.

We've had a few remediation companies come to put together quotes for abatement for us - still waiting to hear back from them. Unfortunately in our case the tiles are not in good condition so sealing over them is not an option.

My question is, how do we remove the black mastic adhesive if we get the tiles professionally removed? Do we wet scrape it off, seal over it, use a product, etc etc. It is directly on top of a concrete subfloor.

If anyone has had any experience with this I'd appreciate hearing about it!
