Kestrels are leaving dismembered mice on top of my bluebird boxes

I have kestrels using the tops of my bluebird boxes as a place to perch and eat mice and voles. They dismember their prey and leave behind the guts, fur and decapitated heads. They also defecate all over the boxes. It is creating a unsightly and foul smelling mess. This is a trail that people use so I can't have this...it looks like a horror show. Has anyone ever had this problem and what did you do about it? Thank you.
