I forgot this tutorial on how to make flowers out of beverage cans. I have tried doing this with regular cans when a friend bought a flower at a craft mall made from two tin cans a smaller soup-size can inside a bigger can. It is heck to try and cut through the cans accurately with tin snips. The soda cans would be much easier. Now I have to go out and buy some soda or beer!

I can imagine these with glued on costume jewelry or the cheap little rhinestones you find at craft stores for the centers. It looks like this person glued sequins to the centers (bottom of the can).

People use either E6000 or glue guns to glue the pieces together and to a length of wire hanger or other heavy wire.

Great stuff, shades! When I first saw your dog shelter, I was wondering if you made that copper wind chime in the picture or if you bought it. I've been meaning to make a wind chime using crowbars. They make the most amazing sound when you clink different sizes of them together. I thought of hanging them from an old hubcap.

This is my first time seeing a horse drawn (or ox or mule) corn planter. You have some great historical pieces in the yard!

Yes I did make the wind chime years ago. I have more tubes to it if you want them in your package to make one. I hope to get it in the mail tomorrow. Skipping stones are drying. they were kind of muddy so I washed them.

Yes it is an old horse drawn planter. A friend of mine gave it to me she and hubby were moving very far away and could not take it. told me to go get it as she did not want it to go with the house they sold and she knew I loved it. I also got an old scoop plow thing. I guess I missed it in the photos. I will get one tomorrow. It is planted with succulents. Looks like the second photo down at this link.

I will try to get pictures of some more things I have and forgot. I have the old coffee pot faces. Glasses are cool on the one you showed. I have cut milk cans planted from same corn planter friend. And an old John Deer Plow. I forget where I got that. Been hauling it around for years.

My husband has my milk cans hidden somewhere. I was hoping he would have uncovered some things while he is cleaning the garage. Right now I have him hunting for my bottle tree and blue bottles.

If you don't need the tubes and they fit in the box I will happily take them. Thank you!

Fun idea hanging old pot lids on the fence. I would have never thought of doing that. Love the old baby bath for a fairy garden!

Ohhh I have a large collection of pot lids. I have always intended to to big mosaic flowers on them and hang them on the fence like you have done. I hope some day to get that done. Maybe this coming winter I will wash and bring them in so I am tripping over them and will get them done. Darling baby bath on the stand.

I was looking at pictures on the computer and found this Pabst beer sign I saw at an awesome antique shop about 20 miles from my house. They have things packed wall to wall inside but have a huge yard with various garden and patio things. If I had a fence to hang this on, I would have haggled for it because my dad used to work at Pabst Brewery in Milwaukee. I thought it would be a great memorial piece for him.

Now if I can just get my husband to put up a wooden fence!

not much metal here, our humidity is so high and with the constant salt mist metal rarely makes it a year.

Thanks, I know I have a bunch of Allen wrenches I got from my dad & he left me a couple of tool boxes with stuff, I picked out the good stuff & just cleaned them out & put rest back. Hoping to use mostly that stuff on 1. I think folks had old nutcracker too.
