Some garden junk in the garden

Thanks to all the imaginative people on this forum and your ideas I have a lovely garden now.

I also found the iron headboard and painted it because the "patena" was not complete. I have a smaller second one I left el natural.

I found the wall placques at a garage sale and spray painted them the same color as my bench. All the way on the right you can see a sort of totem I made from a railing spindel and some ceramic pieces. It can be used for a seed holder too.

WOW! WOW! WOW! You have been busy! If I were there, I would want to stop and look at everything! Love the headboard, chair, milk container, totem...!!! Love it all! Beautiful colorful flowers too! I've been in a state of depression for over a week. Must be the gray weather we're having. Anyway...thank you all for making me giggle!!!! You are the most creative folks and I wish you were all my neighbors :-) I want a water bed now and I want a tub with a flowerpot person. DH is going to flip with another one of my crazy ideas. On the Potting Shed, we'll pretend the little silver chair left of the door is a child's chair, because it isn't in scale with the hoe, watering can, etc, but I couldn't resist using it. Did ya notice the tiny license plates on the Shed? Those little Tenn plates came in an old cookie tin containing nails & screws that a neighbor had placed at the curb. It was probably on a key chain at one time, and now made it to WI. One thing missing is a mini bottle .... and I'm talkin' mini. It needs to be even smaller than an insulin bottle. On the hook holding the Shed sign, is a perfect spot to add a colored bottle .... anyone want to add a mini colbalt blue? LOL The shed itself came from a thrift store , it's actually a ceramic piece 3/4 the size of the wooden one. This will give you a better idea of the size difference .... Y'all been using words like "upscale" and "high class" well what else would you expect from someone named tennesseetrash?!? LOL I really didn't mean for it to turn into a jewelry store, I was doing a fairy house, and as I got closer to finishing, I either had to learn to paint real quick, or get busy gluing and just used what was at hand. It just evolved. TMG/Kathy I am hearing you loud and clear about those destructive squirrels! I can just see them munching down on all your great creations, so I'm sure you'll do what's best. I vote that your DH hop out back and build you one of those beautiful greenhouses made from old windows, then place the City inside all that glass :-) .... if he reads this he ain't gonna like me lol, so while he's at it he could do some custom made shelves for the lil houses .... snork .... I appreciate all the positive comments, I was so shy about it, but now I need a new project! I didn't even know what GEII smelled like til this project, DH gave me some cool tools I can handle .... been a lotta fun. ~tenderlee In case ya missed where the parts came from, here's the link for that ..... Pam, that was quite a bunch of eye candy! Your garden is lovely, and all your rustic finds and GJ items have me quite envious. Never anything like that around here. I especially love the iron headboard, but everything is great.
And your choice of colors...WOW.

Wow, Thanks everyone! I was laid off back in December and have had lots of time to catch up on projects I've been wanting to do. I do post here every now and again, but do read often and learn alot!

Joann, The pink flower is a Salvia Greggii. Heatwave series 'Blaze', its a new Hybird that is hardy for my zone 6b gardens. Its actually more red than pink, the picture may be decieving. I garden mostly for Hummingbirds and Butterfly's. Hummingbirds LOVE this plant.

Wow! Love the scroll of your copper headboard & that you painted your other treasures the same striking copper. It makes the eye flow from one end to the other end of your garden without being interuption. Great job!
