I thought it was a fox. It is a pretty critter which ever it is.

minjeeah.....hidden in the photo is a creature. After everyone has seen it hidden....I'll enlarge it and expose what and where it is. It's a game.....

If you take mama gooses photo - if you take her starfish and crab claw as the base of an equilateral triangle, then at the top is my turtle. Right above the word claw is my sleeping Canada Goose. And of course, as soon as the critter is pointed out to us we'll wonder how we ever missed it.

Good job guys! It is the round object in the picture. A rock ptarmigan. If you see that dark black spot, that's its left eye and its beak is pointing down at about 8 o'clock. This is a different one but it will give you an idea of what they look like all puffed out.

I never did find the deer in the second picture yesterday! The hunter today might be well disguised, but his rifle sure isn't! I'm so glad you are doing these, Jasdip! I really enjoyed them when someone else was doing them last fall, and missed them when she stopped. They are really fun! Frustrating sometimes, but fun. Thank you! Rusty P. S. Skitch Touch is another program that came on this PC that can be used to draw circles. Can do it freehand or it will use a shape, circle, square, ellipse, etc..

#1 A baby/fledgling Great Horned Owl....the parents are nearby....probably in the trees....?...but maybe not in these trees. #2 A BIG frog....the size of my hand... ****************************************************************************************************** Sorry about the trash. This is a HUGE wildlife area with a trail next to the creek. The creek flooded a couple of years ago. When that happens peoples yards flood, trash cans are knocked over...... styrafoam hot tubs float away. :0)

I thought I'd found 3 critters, until I enlarged the picture. One of the 'critters' turned out to be the end of a dead branch, the other a clump of dried grass.

Actually, I'm not sure I agree with the others on what the critter is, so I'm anxious to see what he (she?) really is when you post the solution, Nicole.

It's either a bobcat or a lynx. It's a perfect image of the head and neck, no disguise other than it's small. Perhaps those who don't quite see it can get an improved picture by clicking on the image.

blfenton..... :0) This was Saturday mornings hike.

Jasdip....thanks! I was sad not to have gotton a better shot....but the critter was just a joy to see out in the woods like that.....

minjeeah....so here's a story for you. :0)

My DH got an email he'd won 1st place in a photo contest. It's the Cheyenne Mtn park open space here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We stopped by the parks Visitors Center to see the display, but they had a yoga class in the display room. So we hiked a nature trail behind the building while we waited and saw the bobcat.....
