I have a new LG G6 phone...need help

I know you guys are so tech smart!! My new phone keeps saying "Messaging keeps stopping" That is my preferred way of contacting my contacts if I don't e-mail....for instance my grand kids who don't have e-mail. I have Messenger which is via FB which is adding those phone contacts but I prefer the other. For one reason messaging comes over my speaker in my car via blue tooth.

How do I fix it? I doubt if my cell phone carrier....which is one nobody knows...North West Missouri Cellular.....would know.

If it's new you probably should take it back as the trouble shooting in the link above is long an drawn out.

If I'm reading your message correctly, you are saying that Facebook Messenger is causing you trouble. That's different than the regular SMS (text) app. If so, you are probably correct in that your carrier won't be able to help but it might be worth a stop at your local store. Maybe somebody there uses the app and can offer some suggestions, otherwise you may have to ask Facebook but I have no idea what support options they offer.

The link that Zep offered covers basic troubleshooting that might be worth a shot if you have a few extra minutes.

Or tell your friends/grandkids to get an email address. <lol>

Problem solved. I decided to purchase a new dispenser tray and was pleasantly surprised that LG had updated the dispenser. LG added a small hole in the bottom. Thank you, LG. No more overflowing dispenser, no more puddles on the floor. For WM3900 order this part from LG: AAZ75735901

The new whirlpool is tops on consumer reports so its worth considering. I still think the 2901 is the best choice and you can get a good price on it now and the new whirlpool hasn't been around that long. The 5 cubic feet on the whirlpool is a great feature though. Hopefully these new models help turn whirlpool aroundbut I trust the lg more....for now.

New Fridge: LG or GE or something else?

I had an LG refrigerator in my last house. It worked great and I never had any issues with it. I did replace the seal around the bottom freezer door once. It was about 9 years old when we sold it with our house. I would have taken it with my if it would have fit into the design of the new kitchen. I purchased a new LG for this house and we've been using it for a few weeks. It's a large, counter depth model with a water and ice dispenser in the door. I wasn't interested in the water/ice dispenser as I knew it would take up already valuable space in the refrigerator, but my family really wanted it. It certainly doesn't hold as much as my old model and I haven't been able to keep it as organized as I did the older model. But, I believe these are standard issues with all counter depth models. I didn't even consider a GE as the quality of these refrigerators has really gone down hill since GE has been trying to sold the appliance business.

Help... New LG WM4270HWA Front Loader Washer making noise during spin.

HI all, While I am getting the LG Washer replace today, I want to find out about the way the front loader washing mechanism works during spin. I had did couple load over the 2 weeks I had it and during spin, it seems to be a bit off balance at the start of the spin. Is this normal or I did have a bad washer that doesnt keep the tub in balance before and during spins. It gets a bit loud in the beginning of the spin. Please let me know what is your experience with your front loader washer. Thanks
