Do Hornworms prefer one variety over another
Comments (2)My experience is that they prefer large healthy plants with green leaves. Once having found them they commence to eat. If there are no large healthy plants with green leaves they will, of course, settle for small sickly plants with pale leaves. Never has a horn worm inquired of me the variety name of any of my plants: rather, they seem to relish them all....See MoreWhy do some of you prefer shower curtain over shower door?
Comments (23)I like a shower curtain for its softness. In our previoius house, we purchased a clear glass door. It looked great and wasn't too hard to clean but we also sold the house just a few months after installing it--who knows what it looks like now after a few years. But also, a year or so ago I read an article by a guy who had his shower door shatter while he was naked and helpless. Tempered glass won't break from a direct impact on its broad side but what happens is if the track becomes worn/loose it can cause an edge impact, and then it will shatter easily. I know it is rare, but it scared the crap out of me! He stood in his shower surrounded by glass with no way out!! Yikes. I don't think a curtain necessarily makes a room feel smaller--here's our ceiling to floor shower curtain...helps make our small master bathroom feel grand :) Here is a link that might be useful: Ceiling to Floor Shower Curtain...See MoreDo You Prefer Over Or Undermount Bathroom Sinks?
Comments (18)I don't think you're making a mistake since you're going with it for aesthetic reasons. I have the portrait suite in my downstairs bath (pedestal sink though) and it seems like you're using it for the look. IMO it's really just the plain drop-ins that have no style to them that look less expesnive. The portrait series doesn't "look cheap" to me. It's the whole package IMO, not just any one element. The type of vanity and countertop you install it in will have as much of an impact as whether it is undermount or not....See MoreWhat size book do you prefer?
Comments (9)Janet, I agree with Linda, I prefer the 12x12 lots more room. Although, there are some really pretty 8x11 papers that you can incorporate into your 12x12 album. Your Daughter will have fun with this project and it gives you some ideas for Christmas, Birthdays etc. If you know what pictures she might have ready to scrap, maybe get some stickers etc., to coordinate with her pictures. Happy scrappin! Pam...See MoreMoses, Pittsburgh, W. PA., zone 5/6, USA
