Did I forget to turn off the lights on my new JD?
Comments (2)It could be that the battery is bad. Or your starter solenoid is bad. Or one of the safety switches is doing it's job, (read your owners manual again). Or there is some sort of draw on the battery when the key is off. You say it is 'new', so contact your dealer....See MoreBought today, lost tag, I forget what I bought!
Comments (10)Looks like oregano (Origanum vulgare) to me. And if it was a local plant/herb sale, it is probably oregano not marjoram since the local plant sales are usually full of garden surplus and I do not believe marjoram would be hardy in your location. Comments (3)Some asclepias do come up rather late. I've had A. tuberosa emerge in June. Saying that, I haven't seen mine emerge yet, so there's still hope. One of my swamp milkweeds is just sprouting, while some other swamps have been up for weeks already. My fluffy agastache's (Honey Bee Blue, Honey Bee White, etc) are up like gangbusters, even reseeded far away from the parent, but the tubular ones are toast (A. cana, A. Salmon & Pink). I've found those tubular ones to be short lived in my beds. Some of my phlox have jumped around the bed too, and they generally only produce a few seed, if that many, so I'm kind of stumped as to how they spread so far from the parent plant. That's never happened before. Some of my columbines look better than ever. I lost a bunch of new echinacea's too; Mango Meadowbrite, Harvest Moon, and another I can't recall. I even lost an Oenothera (Sunset Blvd); those are hard to kill and/or get rid of. Another beauty lost seems to be my Hibiscus coccineus; I'm heartbroken over that one. But, I haven't written it off yet; there's still hope from what I've heard. I've lost alot more this year than any other in the past 10. Ah, what the heck, it just gives me more room to plant new things. So, you're not crazy ;)...See MoreWANTED: did I forget?
