Folkman, Thanks for your response. You answered the wall paint color question I had. I did find where you mentioned the tumbled marble had 00412 on the boxes and you also mentioned Antique Gold. Someone else mentioned color names noche and chiaro. I will check at HD using those names. The only other name I will wait for is the floor tile name and color. I have looked at several of the HD porcelain tiles and like them all. Some even look like marble. I just love the entire look of your bath. Did you ever take some final pictures that show your shower door and your sink faucet? Would love to see the final look. Thanks for posting your work. Ok, I'm not gonna touch this debate - but will continue to read all asbestos comments, in this thread & any others. Someday, I REALLY want to get rid of living room carpet. Under carpet pad are 6" tiles. Old. Ugly. Hard as rock. Probably asbestos. Adhesive under it, probably asbestos. Under that, very old linoleum & below THAT a thick tar-paperish layer. Probably all asbestos. All I can do for now, is hope the carpet & pad are doing enough to keep it "down there". I'm nervous about having it tested. I've heard stories.. Mostly about lead, yet.. They say testing is confidential - but how long before new laws are passed requiring positive results to be reported to Big Brother, so he can look out for you - by making you and your family pay for alternate housing (which you can't afford) while making you pay for professional remediation (@ which time you have to sell your car). Am I paranoid? You bet! I don't want the government in my home, or my YARD for that matter! (Touchy subject - city building inspector stopped by yesterday to "chat" about my kids inflatable pool. 2' of water, but since maximum fill line is 30"... I have to drain it, submit a full to-scale site plan with an application for a BUILDING PERMIT. For a little rubber kiddie-pool!). So, I can see how government can get a little "Big for it's britches", local or federal. (Off topic, I know - I needed to "rant", tho - & that's part of the subject line).

Hello, I only grow the port afra so I can't really offer specific advise on the others ......you don't say how long ago you got the port afra plant...to me if looks in a pretty rough condition if you don't mind me saying so. If it was a recent purchase, did it look like that in the advert? Was it like that when it arrived.? if so I would seriously consider contacting them and asking for a refund. What did the roots look like when you repotted it, white and fresh or brown, stringy and rotted or bone dry? Sorry for all the ?'s but just trying to find out more to help you. The roots could have either rotted from too much water or dried out from too little in which case it will need to be rehydrated before it can take up any water, but you say you have yet to water it....so when was it last watered??...need some more clues first as to what's going on with it.....and before it dies completely. That said, I grow mine in a gritty mix of equal parts horticultural grit, perlite, small bark and general purpose compost. It drains instantly its watered. If the plant were mine I would cut it back severely, repot into the mix above having checked the roots over, water once but thoroughly, place in warm spot but out of direct sun, sit back and wait. The branches are mostly bare and thin so imho you will get a much better plant overall if you prune it back to begin with rather than waiting for it to fill in on its own as in nature it would get eaten back by browsing animals rather than some plant lover armed with their secateurs! Just a note on the second plant, I don't grow them but I might add that it's planted in a slightly too large a pot and too low down...(we see this so often, I don't know why) sorry, again just my thoughts. good luck and come back...... Too funny! I'm still trying to figure out 'titers'? I got tetanus, flu, and shingles shots last year. :( And a pneumonia shot the year before. Since I'm long out of the Air Force, I've not gotten too many shots - unless we count all the insulin. My poor jelly belly! Harry still hunts, not as hard, not as long, and not as often as before, but he comes alive when it's time to load up in the truck. We keep both dogs current on their rabies/parvovirus/distemper boosters and Lyme disease shots. They hunt on the prairie and often meet up with coons, skunks, coyotes and other potential disease carriers. They also have to get the bordotela spray since they occasionally have to go to doggie day care. All dogs staying there must be current on all the meds. We have to register our dogs in town each year and they have to see proof of shots as well. There's also flea and tick control, and heart worm meds. The vet is so impressed with Harry's muscle tone and activity level. He did a blood panel; all of his organs are firing on all eight cylinders! Surprisingly, he did have a UTI. This is the first time this has happened ever. We had no clue and he was not showing any symptoms at all. He's on a good antibiotic so he'll be right as rain in no time. I wish my own doc was half as thorough, half as concerned, and half as professional as Dr. V. Harry loves to go to the vet; he gets all happy once I turn off the Buffalo Road.
