Light through a SE exposure window for houseplants

Hello!

So I have a few houseplants (peace lily, anthurium) and have a SE exposure living room window. I think the direct sun hits it somewhat until like 11am. Since I don't really want direct sun on my anthurium or peace lily, my question is, at what point when sun hits glass and then enters the house does the light because almost nothing like what it was outside. 1 foot away from the window? Two feet? I don't want to burn the plants but I want them to have take advantage of light!

I'm in San Diego area.
