nhb22, I'm sorry you aren't sleeping well. I've suffered pain cronic since I was pregnant with our daughter who turns 31 next month so I feel for you. We knew we'd need the duo motion since I'd been propping myself up in our old bed in order to sleep on my back to ease my pain. Have you thought about getting something like THIS adjustable three piece wedge system or maybe even one of THESE folding wedges? That way your hubby could lay flat and you could sleep more comfortably. I was going to say there is nothing worse than not getting a good nights sleep, but yes, sadly there is. After getting closed in the pantry a few times and crying for help, I decided to teach her a lesson. Her learning to open and close those doors at will was not the lesson I had in mind though. She opens them from the outside by tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap..... ing on the door until it finally pops open enough for her to walk inside. Not something you want to hear when you are trying to get to sleep at night. Which is what happened last night. If I weren't so tired I'd have gotten up, walked across our bedroom and catty corner across the hall and opened the door for her so she could walk in the laundry room and sleep on the fleece Packer blanket I laid there waiting to be washed. Which darn it, I forgot to wash today. I may as well just open the door when I go up to bed tonight. LOL

what a fun idea! Here's what I would do: 1) find a picture of a grazing pony. I had luck searching google for "grazing pony silhouette" 2) take it to a local place that does photocopies. Many can resize pictures and print to large size (it might need to be printed in pieces, then taped together). There may be copyright issues, ask what they need--you might be able to use a photo you took yourself, or get permission from the owner of an online picture. (I actually have Photoshop, so I'd resize and print it myself piece by piece on 8x10 paper and spend a bunch of time taping the sheets together. Taking it somewhere would be faster.) 3) use rubber cement or removable glue to attach pattern to plywood and cut it out.

I fold my fitted sheets. I also iron my top sheets and my pillowcases BB is my spirit animal; I do exactly the same with my linens. The video is exaggerated for effect, once you get the hang of it folding fitted sheets that way is pretty easy. I can't say I LIKE doing it, but you do end up with a neatly folded sheet that stacks well. As for ironing, I started that years ago because my bed is truly my sanctuary and the feel of crisp clean ironed sheets and pillowcases is such a lovely little treat when I climb in at night to read and then drift off. It's no big deal to do and since I follow my mother's rule of 3 with linens (one set on the bed, one in the laundry, one in the closet) I usually wait till I've got a couple of unironed sets then do them in front of whatever HGTV show I want to idly watch.

@fillmoe, You can wash the items together but then dry the sheets set separately to avoid the problem. What are the other types of items involved? They're better to be dried separately from the sheets if bath towels and other heavier/absorbent fabrics. Sheets typically are lighter-weight fabric that may get overdried with heavier items.
