Oxalis triangularis lost color
Comments (2)It's probably very root-bound. Divide the rhizomes and pot into a free draining mix. There may also be an issue with Fe (iron) uptake. Soil pH tends to rise as soils age. This can cause Fe to form insoluble compounds, making the Fe unavailable for uptake, even though it is present in the soil. Get some pH paper and add enough white vinegar to bring your water down to a pH of 5.5, and take note of how much vinegar it took. Add that amount of vinegar to your water each time you water and the leaves will green up again. If you don't want to bother with the pH paper, try an ounce (2 tbsp) in a gallon of water. Make sure you're flushing the salts from the soil regularly, too. Let the plant get dry to the point it looks 'wilty', then flood the soil with lots of water. Do this every time you water, or at least once each month. Al...See MoreDo You Know Anything About Murray Feiss Lights
Comments (8)We chose Minka over Murray Feiss for some bathroom lights to save a few dollars. Bottom line, we returned the Minkas and ended up ordering the Murray Feiss. You definitely get what you pay for...the Minka lights were complete junk. Every crystal was scratched...two of the three units were missing pieces...and, the company didn't even want them back! They told us just to keep them so we're just going to throw them away. Our Murray Feiss lights for other areas of the home were of great quality....See MoreOxalis triangularis strange leaf growth from a flower bunch
Comments (8)thank you tlbean2004 and christine. I also look forward to hearing what others' experience is with this! I fell in love with oxalis triangularis last year, my work colleague had one at the office, but I only got my first plant a few months ago, then I found that there are other colours and so I ordered more bulbs online. I have now 4 different colours of oxalis ( I'm attaching some pics of them, and my breakfast included ). I have seen in some websites some purple-green leaf oxalis that I have not been able to get yet. Also, in case you are interested (or maybe you know it already), there are many books on floriculture and I decided yesterday to buy one online, so I can understand more about this plant, but in general to have a reference book for other plans. I leave you the reference, mine will arrive in a few days. http://www.pearson.ch/HigherEducation/Agriculture/Horticulture/1471/9780130462503/Floriculture-Principles-and-Species.aspx Have a great day and thanks again for your comments! Comments (5)The only thing I really know about them is that they produce outdoor fabrics, and I found them when I did a search for that. You can see some of their retail prices on fabric.com, and they are pretty low, and I'm pretty sure the fabric is woven in China. I would contact fabric.com to get more info about them, especially regarding availability. I could not find a retail source for their outdoor fabrics....See Moremarguerite_gw Zone 9a
