Hello, so I have never planted clematis before and know nothing about them lol. But while in Lowes getting stuff I of course visited the garden section and for whatever reason bought a clematis haha I don't rem the name, but I swore it began with an R? Please don't hold me to that because it's very likely I'm wrong lol...but we had a very dry hot summer here last year, and was in a severe drought, so I wasn't able to water everything like I should've and the clematis looked dead and gone...well while looking over my yard I noticed the little bugger came back!! But now reading in this forum I see there are different groups of clematis and some can be GIANTS!! So I want to try and figure out what this could be so I know if I planted in a good spot or not...I only have pic of foliage because it's still only spring here in MA..so idk if it helps to see the foliage only or if it doesn't nothing..the flower last year if I rem was a purple variety?
