Help - how can I get purple or red flesh kohlrabi
Comments (7)Livingston Seeds are available at hardware and farm supply/feed stores near me. Last year their seed racks had Watermelon Radish and Black Spanish Round Radish. I have the seeds but didn't get either variety planted last summer. Now I'm very eager to grow both this year. You all made the watermelon radish sound fun to grow, eat, and just look at :) Can the watermelon radish be planted in the spring and throughout the season? When did you get it in your CSA share? From what I read on the package, it sounds like season-long planting would work. I think the Black Spanish Round is best planted in late summer, though, for fall harvest and winter storage. Does anyone have growing experience with either variety?...See MoreHow do you get purple heart out of a garden?
Comments (14)Marti, I agree that one of the problems is having to rake and clean up the area after it freezes back in winter. But what really made me remove it was that it grew over the walk so quickly after trimming. I was looking for a picture that I took of Purple heart hanging over a wall at the S.A. Zoo, but instead found this one of where I had it planted. It really looks great in combination with lime green plants. That's a coleus in the pot and a Margarita sweet potato vine in the background. At first it did get water from the run-off in watering the plants in the pots, but later when I didn't replace those plants it grew like crazy even without extra water. Well, there is something positive to be said for that ability in these dry years we're having....See MoreHow to get rid of virus when you can't get online?
Comments (25)Hi zep516, How did you know beanwabr was infected with Palladium Pro? I could not find out any info about this from beanwabr. You said my link leaded to a possible infected web site? I can tell you that this site (teesupport.com) is safe. I know this because this site keeps posting blogs (http://blog.teesupport.com/) for virus removal and legit applications uninstall instructions each day. Teesupport starts its blogs for over one year and some of blogs are even listed on the top search on Google. I do not think Google will allow sites that will damage your computer to exist for such a long time. I have also tested this site using online anti-virus scanners from various security vendors and all test show that it is a safe site. What is more, as far as I know, TeeSupport is an online company to provide remote tech support and they receive payment via PayPal or Safe Cart. Will a virus maker dare to receive payment via PayPal or Safe Cart? Talking about spam..There is a very interesting thing. See two latest posts from two different sites here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-master-utilities http://www.citruscomputers.com/2011/09/01/remove-master-utilities-uninstall-guide/ "Your computer should now be free of the Master Utilities program. If your current anti-virus solution let this infection through, you may want to consider purchasing the PRO version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to protect against these types of threats in the future." -- This is the bleeping computer site that you won't doubt. I know bleeping computer site very well and I like it so much as you guys and I just want to list an example here to support my opinion. So far, I don't think there is any pure site without promoting anything. My principal is to choose info that I need and ignore the unwanted info on the internet. If a site does not force you to buy anything in an illegal way like rogue software and it can provide you some useful info, then that is not a bad site. By the way, I admit that sometimes I will buy things from the internet because of those sites' promotion but I don't think it is bad because they provide useful things to me and I think they deserve my payment for hard work of making such useful things. Enjoy the internet! Regards, Alan_hoicns...See MoreYou can have mulch or you can have Purple Dragon
Comments (14)I did a search of this site and see I first started talking up Purple Dragon six years ago under my previous name of Esox (don't know how it got changed). I've never had Purple Dragon become a problem. If it edges a bit over the preferred area, I take it and plant it in another spot. I have endless spots where I want Purple Dragon, so each extra bit is a treasure. It's very easy to remove if you don't like where it is. But I've never felt the slightest interest in removing any. In the photo with the birdbath in my original post that started this thread, the Purple Dragon looks great next to the Blue Angel and the Unchained Melody and the baby Liberty. Stardust on the other side of the birdbath. If I didn't have the Purple Dragon there, it would be anonymous weeds, Creeping Charlie or mulch. I hate all three....See More- 7 years ago
