You pick from categories, must answer true or false before the timer goes off. It is fast paced. I don't have fast fingers lol!

I got my good score in General Knowledge. And tonight I can't get past 14. I'm doing better in Animal than food or geography. It's a fun game, though, and I've always liked trivia. Thanks for the link, Raven...I think. :)

Haven't played True, but I'm hooked on Tri-Peaks Solitaire. There are 2 versions and I play the one that shows the 4 Aces. Lots of fun! Will give True a try, but I'm not very good at trivia.

I finally won a game. It wasn't simple to me. I stayed ahead of the cat in a sort of zigzagging way but that may not be the answer because I tried that way again and that cat beat me over and over and I haven't won since. Blasted Ol' cat. LOL

I played checkers when I was four, but switched to chess when I was about 10. There are some great looking chess sets, and I always wanted an onyx one from Mexico. I haven't played chess since I was a child. In college I played bridge, but my family mostly played canasta and dominoes (42). I also like pinochle and have a cribbage board but seldom play it. For Christmas a few years ago, I gave my niece the game, Black Card Revoked, not knowing whether she would like it, but we had fun playing it with her husband and my brother. I did not win - my niece is very competitive. I hate playing monopoly with people who are overly competitive. I used to play Trivia Pursuit with my family at Christmas, and I was pretty good at that. I have a Jumanji board game in my closet here that I have never played. I bought it after watching the movie (I think on eBay) but I would have to watch the movie again before playing it, I think. In Canada, I used to play Crapola with friends that I visited there. It requires six dice and was pretty much fun.

PSA-Use airplane mode if you ever play games on your phone

What's the one thing that almost all free phone games have? Ads...TONS of them. I understand these are necessary to make money, but if you're smart you can play without them. Simply turn on airplane mode while you play. You won't be able to do everything in the games, but I think it's worth it. Also, this will not work for every phone game, but I've noticed that for a lot of them it does.

It is fun, but being reminded about the background color after every answer and then being told I was plenty speedy makes it slow going. One question reminded me of a favorite George Carlin bit. He insisted that there is no such state as Montana, that there is just a big hole up there. When the audience laughed in disbelief, he cinched it with, "Well, have you ever met anyone from there?"

My little sister lives in Montana, so I believe in it! Been there too! Can't say I believe in California tho, LOL!

What a fun game! Thank you Raven (I think). This has all the earmarks of becoming a new addiction. So far I have a streak of 9 on the first category, think it's general stuff. The best I've been able to do on the others is a streak of 1. Sheesh! ! !

I'm about to try it when I finish up on GardenWeb this morning. I love all types of games and am always looking for ways to pass the time when I'm not well enough to do something. Here I go, off to a new addiction!

I gave it a go last night. Sheesh, some of the questions are hard, but I finally managed to get a streak of 18 on foods. The most I could get on another category was 9 on sports. I'll try again on another day. I hate to get hooked on something!! But it was fun.

You will notice I neglected to mention how long it took to get that streak! And that the number of times I had to 'play again' is not mentioned. (BIG grin! !)

I played for the 2nd time last night for a few minutes and managed to get 18 again (again in foods). Got some higher numbers in a couple of other categories too, but didn't have time (or the concentration) to play long.

34, wow! What category was that? I found that some questions get repeated if you play several times.
