Yes to both, and enjoy it immensely!!

I don't read in the bath, and have no desire to. The bathtub in the master bathroom is a large, deep, oval soaking tub with a view to the fireplace in the master bedroom. When I take a bath it is to lean back and relax. (I take a shower to get clean, a bath to relax.)

I do read in bed, as does Hubs. But we each have a Kindle Paperwhite, so we don't have to worry about a reading light disturbing the other person.

I'm so sleepy by the time I go to bed that I can't read because I'll fall right to sleep. Reading makes me sleepy anyway. As I've gotten older, I can hardly even read a book anymore because I can't read more than a couple pages before I'm nodding off.

Every night my tablet comes to bed with me and I read or play or color or whatever I feel like till I get sleepy. No lights required since the tablet has it's own. I don't take baths I take showers so no reading. If I have to soak in an Epsom salts bath I still don't read I just relax.

I read every night. I have a nifty light that is really tiny but really bright, it's attached to the headboard. I usually read for 10-30 minutes. It helps me take my mind off the usual worries.

Always in bed before sleep. No tub rack for tub reading - prefer to vegetate in there - so relaxing.

Yup, every night. Once in a while I'll read in the bath, most often just relax. I gathered up the books I read to donate to the auxiliary at work for their quarterly book sale. I had to make several trips, didn't think I'd read that much. Also listen to audible books sometimes. I listened to 3 of the Game of Thrones books while walking. About 150 hours of walking.

Like Arkansas girl, I can't stay awake long enough to read. I fall asleep almost as soon as my head hits the pillow. Can't watch TV either. I don't read in the bathroom either. Have a shower but the tub is still waiting to be refinished. (It is dated 1895 on the bottom....unusual... has lion feet instead of the more usual ball and claw).

I much prefer showers... and thus, only read in bed. This is sooo much easier.. :) when not sharing a bed. :)

Yes in bed just about every night. It helps me relax.

I used to, but I always dozed off before finishing the first paragraph. Now I either read or do things on my laptop while sitting in a recliner until I start feeling sleepy.

I read before going to sleep on my Kindle most nights. Usually after a few pages I realize I have no idea what I just read, so I roll over and bam asleep. Sometimes I play solitaire on my tablet which also makes me nod off. I have a nice jet tub that I use infrequently. Like Jasdip I watch the clock. I heard that for relaxation or relief of aches, you need to stay in the tub 20 minutes.

When I was more or less taking care of Mom, even tho she lived in her own home, many nights my mind would be racing so I did a crossword or sometimes two every night after I went to bed. It calmed me down and I could fall asleep. Since she passed in October I haven't done that.

When I moved into my house there was a tub, but I rarely used it. Mostly used the shower. So when I remodeled, I opted for a shower stall. A bath is good for soaking aches and pains though as someone mentioned.

I take a bubble bath every night and always have my current book with me for an hour of reading.

I usually read on my tablet for a little while before going to sleep. I don't read in the bathtub. I listen to music and think about my day or whatever upcoming plans I have. I always thought the idea of drinking a glass of wine and reading a book while soaking was so inviting, but I rarely drink and I was unable to find a comfortable position for reading in the tub, so that nice across-the-tub book and wine holder went to Goodwill.

I read in bed every night, mostly real books. I leave my tablet downstairs, and use it during the day. I don't think I ever did any reading in the bathtub, at least not regularly. These days I don't have a working tub.

This past Christmas my granddaughter gave me a silver bookmark engraved, "Fell asleep here." I love it.

I always read in bed, usually for 15 - 30 minutes, before falling asleep. After years of teasing me about it, Dear Husband finally admitted that my reading light doesn't bother him :-)

How do you turn pages with wet hands? When I'm relaxing in the bath, I set up a music playlist to enjoy.

I do most of my reading in bed. I even made a book holder so I don't have to hold the book.

I have two...yes two! unfinished paperbacks sitting next to the bed. The next BIG snow storm, when nothings on TV, I'll pick up where I left off....in one or the other....:0)

I’m exactly the same as Jasdip when it comes to baths. After a couple minutes I think, “This is
boring, there’s other things I need to get done”. Waste of water. Plus I have to shower after my bath anyway to
get all the bubbles off me.

I have 2 places I love to read and they depend on my mood. When I first looked at my new house I noticed my bedroom had a 10x10 ft sitting area with a window. As soon as I saw that area I knew exactly what it was going to become, my reading area. I bought a giant overstuffed chair that was sink in comfy that I could curl up and read in and enjoy the view outside. I do this most often. I love to watch the thunderstorms outside and read in my chair. I know I am strange lol.

I also love to read in bed and sometimes do it during the day when I want to relax and just enjoy the silence. I will close all the blinds in my bedroom so my room is dark, crawl into bed with my soft blanket and read in the dark and enjoy the quiet and it relaxes me when nothing else will. If I am really into the book I will read until I fall asleep at night in bed as well.

I have never read in the bathtub. I hear people talk about going in there with a glass of wine and a good book and reading but I just don't take baths and if I did I would probably slide down in the tub and soak my kindle because I have that kind of luck.

I can't read in bed. Every time I try, I'm so engrossed in the story that I can't stop reading. Far from relaxing me, I find myself staying up way to late to finish the story.

I've been that way since I was a kid. I remember being in elementary school and my mom getting onto me when she found me reading at 1am.

I've never understood how people can fall asleep reading! Obviously I am the odd one on that.

Yes to bed: we bring our tablets, Kindles, and books with us, to use whatever we feel like for a couple of hours before turning off the lights.

During our MBR remodel I specifically requested the cabinetry company to make a custom storage headboard. I wanted an angled back for comfort, although we still use several pillows.

Both companies we got quotes from were a bit flummoxed by the idea, but the company we picked did a very good job. We're very happy with it, and each side stores up to two big pillows. Since we have a CA King bed, it's hard otherwise to store those extra-long pillows!

This was the photo I took right after they finished it (and before we replaced the icky old blinds with a gorgeous plantation shutter insert). Took an extra 2 days just to get that electrical outlet on the RH side, moved up 6 inches! Sheesh. But it's nice not to have to crouch down to reach for the plugs, so it was all worthwhile.

I usually wake up between 5:30-6:30. Since I have no intention of getting out of bed before 8, that has become my main reading time. I also read there during the day and sometimes in the evening if there's nothing on TV. And no baths here either.
