I loved it in Alaska. The blooms were beautiful, foliage healthy and it made a small bush in zone 3. I think I'd like it here too. I forget where you are, but more sun is probably best in any cold or medium zone.

Sheila, I am in the Mohawk Valley in upstate NY where it is cold and damp. so BS is a factor to be considered.

In Zone 7, Morden Sunrise (not Blush) is about seven feet tall. I love that rose, with beautiful blushed single blooms. I hope your Morden Blush is as lovely. Diane

i got the same thing from HD today!! excited about it.. but lack space..can it be planted in a container?

I planted one two years ago so it's still a bit early for a final verdict.

Zone 5b but in an exposed location in my front yard: most of the unprotected canes died back despite the cold hardiness ratings. Other nearby Canadian-bred roses (like Campfire) were about 90% cane-hardy. Bonica which is supposed to have a Z4 rating also had about 90% cane hardiness.

The shrub itself has been very small for me, only reaching about 2.5 ft high and a bit spindly. However, that may be partially because of competition from a nearby peony and panicle hydrangea, as well as only being in the ground 2 years. And, of course, the cane dieback.

The flowers are small but quite pretty, but I have not gotten a lot of flowers from it. So far never more than 3 at a time on the shrub.

If it doesn't show some improvement in year 3 I may dig it out. The spot for it is getting smaller and smaller anyway as the other nearby shrubs keep maturing. You may have more luck than I have if you give it a better spot with less competition.

If I found Morden Blush for $9.99, I'd be tempted to buy all of them and make a hedge somewhere. It is a perfect rose here in the inland northwest - cold winters, hot summers. I have 3 and have never seen any blackspot, but we're on opposite sides of the country. Here's a photo from Northland Rosarium's garden, zone 4/5. They're on a high prairie that is colder and windier than Spokane proper.
