Help with my sempervivum!

I was given a sempervivum plant about 6 weeks ago, and it had been sitting in moss in a glass pot. It had no roots. I've since rehab-ed it by keeping it on top of a completely dry pot of succulent/cactus soil, and it's grown some roots and has grown, so I've started cautiously watering. However, some of its lower leaves have some strange, tiny spots on them, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on caring for this plant. Do those spots mean the plant is rotting? Is that normal on lower leaves? The plant looks otherwise pretty healthy, but I worry that it's sick from it's earlier home, and want to be sure I'm giving it the best chance at future survival!!

I've attached photos, the first 2 are from when I first got it showing it's original environment and the lack of roots, and the last 2 are from today, showing the plant as a whole and a zoom in on the leaves.

Any advice anyone has on how to keep this gorgeous succulent alive and happy would be very much appreciated!!
