Comments (4)A friend in Florida taught me this and works for me: Put the seeds in boiling water for 10 seconds, take them out, nick them, and plant them. 100% successful germination. My plants have been living in Long Beach Ca for several years. If not protected in the coldest days of winter, the branch tips die back.
