I would wait until spring. It is snowing here today in Southeast Wisconsin.

yes - we are supposed to get snow tomorrow. We moved into the house last fall and decided to wait and see if we could 'bring it back' with lots of TLC through the summer. Definitely better, but still not very good. Yes, it was pretty bad. Thanks, we will wait and see what another winter brings.

I need a new lawn really bad...I have some kind of weed (maybe cheatgrass - which gets in the fur coats of my babies and then burrows into their skin if I don't catch it all), so do you have to wait until fall/spring to do this? I want to kill all the weeds, til the yard and put down seed (can't really afford sod). I live in NE Oregon.
