Curtain advice please for living room and dining room
Comments (9)@Celerygirl is absolutely right and I completely agree with her. Trellis pattern of curtains is really a good choice that can a bring style to your living room and also add color and beauty to your dining room. The big thing I like about this, is the material used in these curtains which is really nice and substantial....See MoreCurtain advice for living room
Comments (10)Never ever do a rod pocket with a single panel. Doesn't hang right. Do the same as your sample pic. Rings with pleated panel so you get that full soft swag. And note where the sample pic has the rods - close to the ceiling and not just above the window casing. Gives your windows more presence. One of your links has "photo not available" so can't see both options. I think one of the other posters mentioned blue velvet and that would be my choice. If you don't like rings with pleats another option is large grommets. They will give you that full soft swag as well. Good luck!...See MorePlease help me with the living room decor: curtains and wall decor
Comments (6)The rug is the wrong orientation in relation to sectional. Rotate the sectional so the chaise is on the fireplace wall. Or pull the sectional back, center it on the fireplace, and rotate the rug to center on the fireplace. And remove the pieces from in front of the fireplace so the rug can be closer to it. Can you separate the sectional into two pieces facing each other, one under the window and one on the wall -- and rotate the rug down the middle between them. That woud be ideal...you could see more of the rug. And get bold artwork for the long wall that will compliment the bold rug. Go to greatbigcanvas.com ,for a large canvas print..a fun site and reasonable. 60x40 or 48x32. I searched for peach and teal under Abstract and found these: https://www.greatbigcanvas.com/category/abstract-art/?color=382&color=398&shape=1...See MorePlease help with living room decor! Comments (6)Balance: I’d skip drapes as a rod a few extra inches above windows won’t affect the ceiling/window effect. The tv is really high for viewing and I’d be bringing it to eye level. If interested and if room allows, can you turn sectional/console so they are facing windows and place tv there and art above fireplace. If keeping as is, add a huge piece of art between windows again to draw the eyes down into room. . Decor: suggest light textured blinds, a floor lamp and side table in corner with new chair to fill that space nicely and as a nod towards coastal, cushions, lamps and art will do the trick....See More- 7 years ago
