Comments (5)Glenda's green, segmented, tube rafts were the exact color of a caterpillar I plucked from my holiday cactus the other day. It even curled into a circle when I grabbed him. 9 years agoHere in W. PA we were forecast to get 4 to 6 inches of snow overnight. Not one flake showed up! I am not complaining! Just goes to show you, weather forecasting is not am exact science.
Neither is puzzle making. After putting together a very poor quality puzzle by Springbok, this next one, also by Springbok, is very good quality.

9 years agoWe didn't get much at all but I saw Pennsylvania on the news this morning and it was at least 20" and still snowing!! I am happy to see that isn't you guys, at least not yet!
Here is a visitor from last night.
9 years agoThis tree broke off from it's trunk while we were on vacation in January and snapped the power lines. The trunk is still standing and is about 25 feet tall; it will have to come down too. There is a lot of firewood in that tree, but we haven't have time to cut it up yet. I was sorry to see it go as it was a really nice tree.
Annie, your photo shows just how much damage a tree can do when it falls. My goodness!

9 years agoWOW, alisande!! where are you... we are in PA outside of Philly and we really lucked out., only about 6 inches...expected 8-12.,so i am pleased!! your photo looks fake, so pretty!!
last week at the suet feeder... he chirps so loud and scares all the little birds away!! but good thing is, he's messy and drops a lot so the little ones get the crumbs!!

I'm in Northeast PA. I think we ended up with about 30", but the wind is picking up and there's more snow in the forecast for tonight. Here's my favorite Adirondack chair. :-)
