Comments (150)Hi All, I hope everyone is doing good. I finally took my brother and his fiancee out to eat! His birthday was only March 6th, lol. It was fun. Theresa, Lol about the rain! It figures, but I'm sure everyone had a wonderful time. Congrats on the win! Shirley, Autograph, Lol! Dawson is lucky to have you living right next to him : ) Melissa, "cross between Barney Fife & Jeff Foxworthy. Clumsier than a blindfolded 3 legged mule" LOL!! That is just too funny. Gary can be an idiot, but he's a big boy so he usually breaks everything around him as opposed to him breaking, lol. Annie, Cross stitch! I knew you did something exceptionally well with cloth. Anita, Wow you are nuts with running a co-op with all those plants and having a wedding. Mellen, I'm suppose to have Monday off, but the weather report looks ugly as of right now, cold and rain. If it stays bad, I'll be working on Monday and having off on Wednesday to send. I'll keep you updated. Remy...See MorePossible cracked head gasket on a Hyundai
Comments (2)Are you insane ? Why didn't you take the car to a rad shop and have them recore it ? They take a big pair of snips and cut off the core size you need from stock and reconnect your own upper and lower tanks. You now have a new rad. $100.00 plus tax. So, where is the water leaking from ? The rad or the engine. Makes a BIG difference. If the head gasket is leaking that bad you ain't driving the car. Something else is wrong. your first mechanic went away probably because someone or government was looking for him. Bottom line is, you got a PROBLEM. Find someone that actually knows what they're doing or send it to a dealer. Spend the money. Mind you if the trans is slipping send it to the press. You have what is called a disposable vehical. It's done it's time. If your husband is thinking of putting liquid glass or saw dust into the engine "somewhere" you might want to slam his testicles down on the toilet seat. It ain't going to work. Actually i'm wrong. It should work and get it off the driveway if you sell the car. I feel sorry for the buyer. Good luck....See MoreTPMS vehicle tire system
Comments (32)They asked you to bring it in and what it would take to satisfy you, but it sounds like you're refusing to take it in. Why? I too would not use Malwart as my service center but that's your choice. I don't quite understand why now it appears you don't want to resolve it when they've approached you about it. Maybe I'm missing something or something is unsaid. As a different point: We have idiot lights now because a certain group of people couldn't read gauges. So now, instead of knowing what is happening, we know what happened. Same thing with these tire monitors. A simple glance at tires reveals a low tire if you take a few seconds to look, but few will. I habitually look at my vehicle when approaching or walking away from my vehicles. A quick once-over glance to see if there's problems. Done that for decades. I still check oil and other fluids between changes even though I don't do the oil changes myself anymore. It takes only seconds to do and you can easily forestall problems. AFAIC people should prove ability to do this in order to get a driver license. Checking lights too (head, tail, brake), is incredibly simple to do, takes essentially no time from one's scheduled and with today's poorer quality components it's more important than years past but I these days I see more people with low tires and/or lights out than I've ever seen before. Most places will check this stuff between service intervals at no charge but people are too lazy to do it. You should have it checked at normal maintenance, whether you do it yourself or take it in. That is, if the place checks things and why would a person go someplace that doesn't? Oh, that's right. Nuff said! LOL And I shake my head when I try to tell people they have a low tire or a light out, all too many (a majority of whom shall remain unspecified) get offended to the point of belligerent at being shown the courtesy of informing them they have a problem. Sorry to interrupt your phone call or texting. I've quit being frustrated about it now and now am amused. Cops love it too. They don't need probable cause to pull someone over when there's a burned out light....See MoreDoes anyone know where to Buy Banana plants?
