Beginner help. Vegetables from seed...outdoors only??? Zone 6a

Hi All,

I am hoping to really get my vegetable garden going this year. I have a raised bed I started a few years ago. Got a few things to grow from starter plants at local nurseries. Took 2 years off due to other projects, and my entire bed is now an unmaintained strawberry patch. I am planning on rebuilding my garden area by adding some more raised beds. Hoping to grow green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, strawberries and maybe some cauliflower and broccoli. I am starting to read up on lots of info, but was curious what can I plant directly from seed outdoors? I don't have anything set up in my house to start seeds indoors. I am doing additional reading but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Located north of Boston in zone 6a.

Thanks!
