Every brand of quartz has its faux marbles. Perhaps you could do a Google image search to quickly view the options in whatever brands your fabricator can use, to identify your options.

I hope that your friend knows how to properly install you quartz countertop. It's VERY expensive and you don't want to provide "on the job training" for him. I'm surprised that, if he IS actually a professional, that he is not trained and certified. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish on this.

Thanks for your concern, but yes he is licensed and has been fabricating many materials for years; just doesn't get requests for Zodiaq. It is not just a friend, but my husbands prior co-worker (in tile/stone field). My husband would not go through someone that he did not trust and see first hand the work he has done. Not too many places in my area actually offer that brand.
