Will dormant hydrangea survive spring flood ?

FADI (Zone 5b)

I have a shaded area in my backyard which always flood in the spring (around mid April) for one or two weeks. This is mainly happen when the snow melt and start raining in the spring. I planted few hydrangeas in this area last year (mainly annabelle and incrediball).

we had a dry spell in July last year and the area was dry if not mulched. I believe the area drains well in the summer. I have never seen a standing water during the summer time for the last 4 years when i bought the house. The standing water happens only in April for 1-2 weeks.

I live in zone 5 and plants are still dormant in April. will my hydrangea survive during the summer? will it be healthy after soaking water for 2 weeks ?

thanks
