Yes ... I was being a tad facetious. The world is fortunate that the U.S. (and Canada) have such a large agricultural production. We're going to need more ... in a world where, a couple of hundred years ago, our population was about 2 million. Then, recently, three ... then six ... now they say that it's seven ... ... and going on ten. Our (worldwide) kids and grands'll want to shoot us and folks of the earlier generation ... for having used up most of the simply-accessed energy ... and polluted ... caused global warming ... ... and pretty well fished out the seas. The ag stuff ... and the entertainment, etc., pays once (though, for music, movies, etc. there may be ongoing royalties). Another that wasn't mentioned was royalties on patents, and the developed countries used to have a lot of 'em ... but in recent years that playing field has become more levelled. Plus, new, more efficient factories, are being built in other countries ... where, despite the low wages, people can be taught to operate them. But each job lost from our country/ies is one that costs us, long-term. ole joyful P.S. And there are those huge debts that many countries have been running up in recent years. The Chinese don't have to send an army to cause us trouble - all they gotta do is say, "Pay yer bills/pay off yer bonds!"! Sorry - we don't got the money to do it. And what we do have is heavily depreciated, 'cause we've been printing so much more of it! And- what'll we do when inflation causes the interest rates to rise?? o j

Birchpoint, are you trying to do it in edit? That won't work. I removed it while still in post mode. What I had been doing when I didn't want the photo was C&Ping the text and reposting in a new comment box. Maybe I had backspaced photos out after the change to Houzz but haven't done it in so long that I thought it was a new trick. The brain gets funny when it hits age 60. Let's see if I can delete a photo from my computer. Nope. I'm not able to right click on it in post mode. Missouribound, are you telling me how to remove my stored photos form my pictures folder? What I meant is how do I remove photos posted in a thread from my computer.

Hi Nancy, If you save your photos to your mobile device or computer, you can add them to a post on Houzz. When you are composing your post, you'll see "Photo" underneath the text box. Click there to select the photo you have saved from your email to attach it to your post. Hope that helps!
