My new hosta bed in winter - trying to figure out posting picture
Comments (2)In photobucket, click on share above the picture, then get link code, then click on HTML full size to highlight it, RIGHT click on HTML, left click on copy. You now have your photo ready to post. Go back to Hosta forum, type your message, hit return once or twice, then RIGHT click, click on paste and your photo will be there. Hit preview to see it before you hit submit. I resize my photos in photobucket to large or to fit a 15 inch screen before I post my photos. Practice a couple of times, we would love to see your photos....See MoreOT (can't figure out where to post this) Re Clippings
Comments (3)If it's any help, nothing to be embarrassed about. We don't all have a kid in the house to show us these things:) I'm bad enough with the camera I bought that I haven't even reinstalled the software for it since buying a new computer in Fall - you don't see photos coming from me. Maybe the privacy option went the way of actual birth dates, or is still tied into the change that puts all the strange symbols when someone tries to list measurements or temperatures. There are some very savvy people on Computer Help forum but this isn't an actual computer problem as opposed to GW glitch I think....See MoreWhy am I the only one that cant figure out how to post a picture?
Comments (28)Did you get message rejected when you started a new thread? Did you have a title in the subject line? I've never had a message rejected because my photo coding was wrong. It happens to me for 3 reasons: 1. when you reply to a thread too soon after posting a comment. Go back to your message and type something different in the subject line, hit preview, then hit submit. 2. when you didn't type anything in the subject line. Go back and type something in the subject line, hit preview, then hit submit. 3. when you put something in the "Optional Link URL" box but didn't type anything in the "name of the Link" box. Go back, type something in the box, hit preview, then submit. You are NOT posting your pic in the "Optional Link URL" box. You should be pasting it into the "Mesage" box along with your typed words....See MoreI can't figure out how to remove Marvin casement windo
Comments (4)WoW, Ltd; thank you so much for trying to help. I appreciate it. That link shows a similar connection except mine does not have the safety catches. I tried the Marvin site, which is heavy with "buy the latest and greatest " and very light on the "how to" section...and they have no customer service after 7 p.m. I asked the carpenter to come back the next evening. I overheard him saying "...we could just take these screws out..." I could not risk my way-too-expensive window this close to winter. I know the Marvin rep that came out in June did not remove any screws. This morning I called Marvin's customer service and had a rep walk me through the process. He explained the process very well and made the dual-arm roto-gear connections make sense in my mind. I got the window unhooked from the three arms and removed it without a hitch, nick, or scratch. As the phone rep was guiding me through the process I stopped and made step-by-step notes. They will be typed out; photos added; and filed in the "Living Room" folder. I won't be caught short again! I also pleaded with him to ask the powers-that-be to add "How to..." sections for each product they sell with instructions for all the functions. Thanks again. It was kind of you to try to find videos for me. Now I'm going to march bravely toward the next challenge/disaster/goat rope this old house throws at me!...See MoreRelated Professionals
