To remove photos from my computer, I just right click on them and delete.

I'm sure I've tried that and it hasn't worked. I'll try again next time I'm on my laptop. Thank you!

Birchpoint, are you trying to do it in edit? That won't work. I removed it while still in post mode. What I had been doing when I didn't want the photo was C&Ping the text and reposting in a new comment box.

Maybe I had backspaced photos out after the change to Houzz but haven't done it in so long that I thought it was a new trick. The brain gets funny when it hits age 60.

Let's see if I can delete a photo from my computer. Nope. I'm not able to right click on it in post mode. Missouribound, are you telling me how to remove my stored photos form my pictures folder? What I meant is how do I remove photos posted in a thread from my computer.

In edit I can right click on that image but it doesn't give me the option to delete.

Yes, I thought you were asking how to remove pictures from your pictures folder on your hard drive. You can only remove pictures from an internet post while in edit mode as far as I know.

But pictures on internet posts are not stored on your computer.

You can't remove a photo in edit mode though. Plus I can't figure out any way to remove a non-Houzz photo from my post, before or after posting. Maybe that Smartypants Ms. Linelle can tell us how. :P

Oh. I just removed a non-Houzz photo while in posting mode. You just have to have the cursor at the bottom of the photo instead of the side.

So what else have I been missing? *whistling*
