Figuring out the "New" Photo Bucket
Comments (15)Every year they change it. I liked it when I went to it earlier this year & the whole album was on 1 page, but I see it has changed again. I only uploaded 1 photo so far, I hadn't noticed they don't have the bulk uploader. I had problems last year when I wasn't careful that it would upload to the wrong album, so I'm used to that. Seems like when I get things down pat with it, they completely change things. Comments (2)In photobucket, click on share above the picture, then get link code, then click on HTML full size to highlight it, RIGHT click on HTML, left click on copy. You now have your photo ready to post. Go back to Hosta forum, type your message, hit return once or twice, then RIGHT click, click on paste and your photo will be there. Hit preview to see it before you hit submit. I resize my photos in photobucket to large or to fit a 15 inch screen before I post my photos. We don't all have a kid in the house to show us these things:) I'm bad enough with the camera I bought that I haven't even reinstalled the software for it since buying a new computer in Fall - you don't see photos coming from me. Maybe the privacy option went the way of actual birth dates, or is still tied into the change that puts all the strange symbols when someone tries to list measurements or temperatures. There are some very savvy people on Computer Help forum but this isn't an actual computer problem as opposed to GW glitch I think....See MoreWhy am I the only one that cant figure out how to post a picture?
Comments (28)Did you get message rejected when you started a new thread? Did you have a title in the subject line? I've never had a message rejected because my photo coding was wrong. It happens to me for 3 reasons: 1. when you reply to a thread too soon after posting a comment. Go back to your message and type something different in the subject line, hit preview, then hit submit. 2. when you didn't type anything in the subject line. Go back and type something in the subject line, hit preview, then hit submit. 3. when you put something in the "Optional Link URL" box but didn't type anything in the "name of the Link" box. Go back, type something in the box, hit preview, then submit. You are NOT posting your pic in the "Optional Link URL" box. You should be pasting it into the "Mesage" box along with your typed words....See More

8 years agolast modified: 8 years agoBirchpoint, are you trying to do it in edit? That won't work. I removed it while still in post mode. What I had been doing when I didn't want the photo was C&Ping the text and reposting in a new comment box.
Maybe I had backspaced photos out after the change to Houzz but haven't done it in so long that I thought it was a new trick. The brain gets funny when it hits age 60.
Let's see if I can delete a photo from my computer. Nope. I'm not able to right click on it in post mode. Missouribound, are you telling me how to remove my stored photos form my pictures folder? What I meant is how do I remove photos posted in a thread from my computer.
