Things haven't changed much from Medieval times, have they? Women in trouble still look to a man as the answer because the man has $ and also promises emotional support. Well, it's still true. Section 8 housing waitlists can be years long, welfare is too little and too sporadic and that nursing job is way off on the horizon. Unless Prince Charming is within view, she is kinda screwed. The only other option is to be really relentless about finding good free counseling that can hook her up with some funding sources which are, sadly, few and far between these days. I would start at the financial aid office of the nursing school and the Career Center. They will try to blow you off but keep coming back until they help you.

Three things come to mind - either he wants attention, are you carrying a ball or something your pup might want to carry in his mouth instead of you carrying it. It is possible he is just messing with you, my dog loves to tease, he hides in the bushes when we are walking and I am not paying enough attention to him...Second - you might have some sort of medical problem the dog can detect. Does this only happen when you are walking?? I know someone whose dog detected her breast cancer....I dont mean to scare you, but if the dog is persistant, go get checked out, especially if it happens when you are not only walking, but doing other things as well

Katelyn, so it sounds like you have recently watered this plant but the leaves are still shrivelled? Couple of other things may be worth considering: could be that the plant has lost it's roots to rot (or a pest), try giving the plant a gentle tug to see if it comes away from the soil. If the plant feels firmly rooted, another possibility is that the roots are situated in a clump of hydrophobic peat which the water is not penetrating. You may need to consider digging the plant up in order to find out exactly what is going on. Andrew

Thank you for the suggestion, but I feel there's still some difference, the leaves look more elongated and thicker and the stem doesn't look alike. I do have a C. ovata (yellow circle on pic below) and it occupies the same spot with my mystery plant (blue circle). Since I mounted the rack on a sliding door, when the door is closed the plants there would receive the most light, and hot afternoon sun. My C. ovata grows okay, the other one not so much.
