I guess this doesn't technically address your specific question, so feel free to ignore, but I don't like how either plan seems to form a chute for traffic right past the range, where the cook will be crossing the aisle with prep items and hot pots. I also worry a lot about how I see stools on the range side of the island in the 2nd plan. That's not a good place for people to be in the way. Is there a reason to have stools at the island and the peninsula? If you don't like the peninsula, do you have an idea of what you might like better? I can't tell without spending some time and having dimensions, but could you do more of a galley, having the window wall be a straight line, then a longer island, and having a full wall of tall cabinets on the wall where traffic walks through from family to dining room? I'm trying to get a sense of what that pantry wall does or doesn't do for closing the kitchen in. It seems to only block the view to and from the courtyard. Is that something you want to see from the peninsula and/or kitchen? Is it undesirable at all to be able to see into the kitchen from the courtyard? How do you feel about your amount of storage? It looks like a really large kitchen. With that much room, it's shame not to have a good pantry. (my personal preference anyway) As I said...Lots of comments, but not sure whether you'll find any helpful or not. Best wishes with your project.

There's not enough clearance around your table in the first plan (unless maybe you're planning a banquette?) I prefer the use of space in the 2nd plan, but use caution with the placement of the refrigerator; Depending on the fridge, you might need several inches on the hinge side to be able to fully open the door and remove drawers. (I was recently looking at a fisher and paykel that required 16" for full access to the fridge.)

Wanted to get some feedback. Trying to decide on my main cabinet run. Got it mostly narrowed down to a couple options. Sort of leaning towards 1A, 1B, 2C. Really torn though. Also not sure about splitting the "C" section up in a non centered kind of way in regards to the uppers above it (baking station that will hide mixer, coffee items, immersion blender, food processor etc) Here's the kitchen layout (ignore individual cabinet dimensions on this one): here's the rest of the kitchen just for the full picture:

Your pictures show a huge DR space with more than enough room for 12 but your renderings make the space look much smaller. I much prefer to work from a 2D floor plan with details
