I don't have the Rohl - I was considering one that looked almost like it, but it is a bit taller. I love the look and so much wanted a bridge faucet. I ended up with a similar style, but switched to a single lever because I heard from my sister and others how much water was dripped on the sink ledge from wet hands turning on and off the faucet with a stone counter.

My old sink was an old fashion drop in and as the faucet was mounted on the sink, drips from wet hands ran back into the sink. But, with a stone counter and deck mounted faucet, the water just sits around the faucet. So I thought one handle would leave less water than two. I also was having trouble with my old two handle getting the temp and flow right and thought this would be easier with one.

I ended up with the one handle version similar to the Rohl, but it is a Danze which is much lower in price but considered a decent lower priced faucet - heavy with brass parts.

If you don't cook a lot then go with the bridge, but if you will be driven crazy by wiping up the area around the faucet, consider a single handle - and I have my single handle mostly pointed over the sink, so drips from hands fall back into the sink.

I can't answer your question - sorry. The spout of my faucet is 8.5" from the top of the counter if I swing it over the counter. By spout I mean where the water actually comes out. It is about 10" from counter at the point the spout emerges from the neck - I am sure there are technical terms but I don't know them:)

I am fine with the height and my sink is 10 inches deep. It took me a while to get used to the undermount deep sink set up. I needed to learn to rinse things holding them lower to avoid splashing. I don't have problems if the water is just turned on with splashing. It was more getting used to the lower undermount sink as a whole than the faucet. I love that I can turn on and off my faucet with just one light touch - so much easier than the fiddling with two handles that I used to do.

Thank you jhmarie. Actually my condo had a single faucet and it got water around it also. Both DH and I didn't like trying to figure out constantly were on the lever we needed to put it to get the right temperature of water. He was the one who actually insisted that this time we have separate hot and cold which was fine with me.

BTW: Your faucet is beautiful too. I had considered the Danze bridge one, but decided I preferred the lines of the Rohl one instead.

Unfortunately, not one near me.

I think, since your sink will be 10" deep, the faucet would be high enough. The link to the 'more info.', gave a deminsion, but it sounded more like the size of the box it comes in, rather than the faucet reach/size. And, you will have the side spray, so that can come in handy for filling pots and reaching the sink corners for cleaning.

I had a separate spray in my condo and yes, they work fine.

The spout height is listed as 9 1/4" high. The spout reach is listed as 8 55/65"

Its a pretty faucet and I like it better than the second one you pictured.

If there is not one on display, somewhere, get some aluminum foil and make a mock up to see how it feels to you. It may not be as lovely, but...

Very pretty but just not functional (IMO). You're chopping up a chicken. How on earth do you turn on the water enough so that you can wash your hands to answer the phone, without spreading salmonella everywhere?

I have a prep sink which will have this faucet so can push the lever down. I also always keep hand sanitizer at each sink and use it before turning on the sink faucet to wash my hands. Yes I know, I'm a bit strange.

I was going to get the old fashioned cross handles, but now that you mention it, I think I'll have to rethink getting levers whether I choose the top one or the bottom one.

Actually, I do have one more comment. We have the Kohler Sin on our prep (deepish SS) sink, and it splashes. Fortunately, there is a pull down sprayer, which minimizes this. Being able to use your faucet prior to buying it, is great advice.

I'm going to check around to see if anyone has one that can be tried, but I haven't found one. My sister has the single handle Rohl.

Your pantry looks fabulous. Wish I had someone as detail oriented to do that sawtooth shelving. I had something like that in my first house and they worked great.
