Anyone have Rohl Soap Dispenser? questions . . .

Hello again -- have not been here as much since kitchen has been finished but still check in from time to time.

We have a Perrin & Rowe bridge faucet which I love. Also have a filter and had kept the old filter faucet which has now failed. Had been planning to get the matching P&R filter faucet but it is quite large -- and expensive -- so now am rethinking and considering using the filter hole for a soap dispenser instead. The big filter faucet next to the bridge faucet would look too crowded, I think. (Our water is a little hard but quite good. I would get a Brita jug.)

Definitely must fill from the top. Anyone have the Rohl soap dispenser? Any concerns about it, any guidance?

I have the rohl soap dispenser, although the Country collection. It looks beautiful next to the bridge faucet and functions like it should. No concerns whatsoever.

Camii41, I realize your last post was over a year-and-a-half ago, but I'm wondering if you still have any extra Never-MTs. I dont know where you are shopping for these dispensers but I have a friend that operates a discount internet plumbing supply company and hes shows the Parma soap dispenser at $35.52 and total flat rate freight at $6.95. Never MT and Rohl soap dispenser?

I have a Rohl dispenser, different model. Never found I wanted/needed NeverMT since it is a breeze to load while standing at the sink. What is the appeal of the NeverMT? To use that I would have to unload the entire under-sink region and get on my hands and knees to do it. Then devote that much space to the detergent container. I buy a multipack of Dove sensitive skin bar soap and store it with each box opened. I always restock before we get to the last bar, so the newer ones also have a little time to age. I’ve been doing that for 30+ years on the recommendation of employee of a soap manufacturer. It’s not a hardship to do and it seems to work because my bars never get gloopy. My experiences with recanting soaps into pretty pump containers were epic failures. The kitchen sink one was glass, tipped over, and shattered. The powder room sink was resin (?) and whatever they color it with ran off the container and onto the sink. It was made to hold soap, didn't they consider it would be in a wet environment?

I have a Rohl soap dispenser, part of the Michael Berman line.
I am very happy with it. I don't (yet) have a Never Mind.
So far I don't mind added soap
(this requires working from below in the sink cabinet)
three or four times a year.

does Anyone know if you are able to fill a rohl without having to go under the counter?

I have 2. I only can fill from the top as the sink blocks access (and view) of the container below. Hence, I always overfill. I have to remind myself to only fill it when I have a pile of dishes to do! Actually using a funnel and flashlight helps. 🙄

We have the Perrin and Rowe traditional bench mounted soap dispenser and i'm currently looking to replace it. It hasn't worked since day one. The company has sent a complete replacement unit which also doesn't work. The only way of getting it to work is to dilute the soap to a watery consistency but then the pump doesn't stay primed- it runs back down so you have to pump multiple times to get it to start squirting again. It's a shame because it looks beautiful.
