Never MT and Rohl soap dispenser?

I saw a post where Babka said her Rohl soap dispenser would not work with the Never MT. Anyone else had luck with a Rohl dispenser and the Never MT? I really want one of the darn things. Link is below to the soap dispenser I have:

pupwhipped - I have the Rohl dispenser with the straight neck and mine works great with the Never MT - I have to believe that the mechanics of mine and yours are the same so it should work...

Thanks mnhockeymom. Think I will give it a whirl. My husband will work on something till the cows come home to get it to function so if anyone can get it to squirt, he can. BTW, he's orginally from MN.

Camii41, I realize your last post was over a year-and-a-half ago, but I'm wondering if you still have any extra Never-MTs. We moved and left ours behind and I'd love to have one after our reno in our new place is complete. I'm thinking you probably gave them away but thought it wouldn't hurt to check. Thanks.

Kathieo, I hadn't been back to this thread -- sorry. The Whitehaus facuet sis automatically switch to stream again when we first got it, but it stopped. I would prefer it that way, and it has done it again a few times, but it's not that big an issue for me. I may ask the plumber about it and see if there is something that can be replaced easily while we have a couple of other things done in a bit. I like the look, feel and fit of the faucet too well to get hung up on that minor point. Ours does seem to go back up pretty well. I do notice that if it isn't put back straight, you might need to turn it a bit or it will fall down a little each time you turn the water off. That has happened mostly with the boys using it, but I think they have it down now. I do like the way the Graff soap dispenser works with the faucet. I posted on your other thread -- I have the model 9921 instead of the 9922. The difference is a little more detail that I thought went well with the faucet. We have it in polished chrome at the main sink and brushed nickel at the prep sink. Love them both. We've nevr had to prime the pump after the first filling and no drips. Good luck resolving yours.

the Never MT instructions that a kind soul here had scanned in (I apologize for copying only the instructions and not the person who posted them!) has specific instructions for Delta dispensers having a vent hole. Perhaps Kohler has changed their design to be similar? from the scanned installation instructions: 3. For Delta pumps with a vent hole, soften the clear vinyl ring in warm water and press onto the pump assembly and up to the collar to cover the vent hole. HTH

I specifically bought it from Custom Inserts. I think they're a small company and wanted to help them out & not water down their profits by going through Amazon. Sometimes small companies don't know how to market well. If they just added $7 to the price and gave free shipping, people have a totally different view. As weissman said, it's still under $20. You could make it yourself but wouldn't the time and hassle spent getting the right tube and connector sizes make $20 a good deal? By the way, you should install it after you install everything else. You just replace the small container in your regular soap dispenser with a tube and run it down to your detergent jug.

Hi there. I have two of these soap dispensers in my kitchen and my DH struggled with the installation, but was successful after many failed attempts. If I remember correctly, he softened the plastic tubing under hot water and was able to finally stretch the tubing over the soap dispenser. Good luck and persistence prevails!

one more thing...don't think it's not working when it takes like 10,000 pumps to get the soap up the tube - it took FOREVER to "prime" the tubing but we eventually got it and have never had a problem ... I just put in my second Costco-sized bottle of Dawn dishsoap in 13 months :-) LOVE the NEVER MT!

Thanks guys. I will keep those suggestions in mind when we get our Never MT. I would really love for this thing to work for me. I got the GE dishwasher that you just put the detergent in and you don't have to add it in at each wash...called Smart Dispense. Seems I'm getting kinda lazy all the way around. HA!

I have a Rohl dispenser, different model. Never found I wanted/needed NeverMT since it is a breeze to load while standing at the sink. What is the appeal of the NeverMT? To use that I would have to unload the entire under-sink region and get on my hands and knees to do it. Then devote that much space to the detergent container. Doing that even once is too many for my 63yo knees.
