Need to Vent as I'm sick and tired of all this garbage.
Comments (12)Lawn lady, Yes, 4 years. I agree it is someone else's turn now but the manager insists it be in front of my house. Yes, they just dump their bagged trash in green bags, recyclable in blue bags. I am the only person that uses a plastic garbage can with a tight fitting lid. I wish there were some way I could get them to stop putting it there. There is no maintenance fee. It's all included in the pad rent. I like your idea of having him choose a number. I wonder if he would go for that. I have to tell you, it was funny watching him run around and picking up all the garbage that I swept onto the street. I know it's not nice of me but still, it made me laugh. The wind picked up and every time he went to pick up a piece of paper the wind would blow it and he had to chase after it. I told him I was going to do this everytime I see garbage strewn all over my lawn and driveway. Thanks so much for your reply and suggestion. Oh yeah, regarding the barbeque. Not such a good idea. My dh isn't as friendly as me and he wouldn't feed the birds let alone the neighbors. dchall: Leaf Blower?? Haha...Best idea yet!...See MoreI'm sick of FireFox!
Comments (4)I wonder if you've cleared your history-cache-cookies lately. I also am curious what version you're running, and how many add-ons you've added to it. If you want to uninstall a program, you typically don't start "deleting" things...unless you want more problems than you had before. Millions of people use Firefox with great success. If you think Firefox is the problem, I predict you'll be just as unhappy with Safari or any other browser. I think you're having a PEBKAC day....See MoreOK I'm sick from moldy house
Comments (6)RMH123, Sorry for your problems and it sounds like youâÂÂre stressed. First of all, relax and donâÂÂt assume the worst. Mold can be a health issue for some (I can eat the stuff and it doesnâÂÂt bother me) and there are MANY naysayers out there. However, donâÂÂt get mad at the naysayers but get mad at the lawyers. When mold became known as a potential problem, the lawyers rushed in and started suing property owners and companies for ridiculous amounts for absurd reasons. Many unethical individuals started lining up with these lawyers looking for an easy payday. ThatâÂÂs why the insurance companies exclude mold in most policies. Unfortunately, people like yourself tend to get lumped in with all the lawsuit hustlers. Your prices have some big variances. Be careful, many companies charge ridiculous prices for this work. I donâÂÂt recommend franchise companies for your situation for a multitude of reasons. Did you have an IH write a protocol? Be careful, some IHâÂÂs can go way overboard to cover their butts. Health issues raise major concerns with anyone in this industry so they will likely write a scope to extremes to protect themselves. How in the world did raw sewage get into your HVAC ducts? ???? If you need help, send me an email and we can talk offline as there is too much to cover here. Good luck!!!...See MoreI'm sick about my backsplash
Comments (66)Dream It Can be: i can tell you that I LOVE the cambria for two main reasons. 1) you can never tell its dirty. yes, I shouldn't admit this but I don't always wipe up right away. Everything disappears on this counter. 2) no worries at all. I know granite is sealed and shouldn't stain but I know for sure that this won't. I've been handwashing my dishes and leaving them on a dish towel to dry without any concern. I might not have any problem with granite but I would still worry. I think you'll love it too. Oh and a 3rd reason - everyone who comes in actually thinks it's granite. The Cambria designs took a big leap forward in 2011. On all who posted on fixes for the glass doors - I'm going to investigate some of your suggestions this weekend. I'll let you know how that works out. Lastly, how kind you all are. You were encouraging and supportive before the final pics. never did you say, "OMG what have you done?" Only now that the final product has turned out well (love is in the air) have you admitted that you too were worried! I love it. That's the kind of friends one needs during a kitchen remodel. :)...See MoreUser
