Comments (6)I am quite a few zones different from the OP, but I have a virgorous, very vigorous MPO. I picked it up at a local nursery about 5 years ago. It's huge now. The fragrance is fantastic, like baby powder almost. It gives a good first flush with not great rebloom. One year I had a decent second flush and we'll see about this year. I had it all pegged, until my husband the whack job whacked part of it back. Now it has a mohawk in the center and long canes all around. Lovely....See MoreRoses and dianthus
Comments (12)Soooo, beautiful Krista!!!!! I love, love, looooove, your pinks and how romantic they are! I call your garden a Ballerina Garden. I get nothing but drab bleached-to-white pinks which drives me crazy....And the fact that you can get rebloom with your antiques is so fabulous and goes to show how happy they are in your garden. Mine thumb their nose at me, lol! Lazy, lumpy gardeners do not fit their lovely stage performance as in your garden....And I can just imagine all the wonderful fragrance, Krista!...See MoreMme. Comments (2)My Rosette Delizy is planted between two Le Vesuve which have not very shapely and rather blowsy blooms. In contrast my RD doesn't really have messy blooms except for the ones that need to be deadheaded. For me it's a good rose in every way, and in your zone may be better than the other two, which like more of a cool winter, I believe. I tried to grow Mme. Pierre Oger without much success years ago, when it was still cooler than it is now....See MoreMme Pierre Oger is blooming
Comments (10)Beautiful Krista, a rose we should hear more about... long time since I grew it too... I never did grow 'Reine Victoria' though.. I also have that cranesbill, well the two similar that I grow are 'Biokovo' and 'Hilary Rendell'... difficult to tell apart, one is a bit more blush pink... indispensables.....See More- 7 years ago
