I've never had a tub glazed, but have seen some that have. The ones I've seen is because I was involved with remodeling. We would get the call for plumbing work, which legally a licensed plumber must do. Anyways, the call was a last resort for taking out their freshly glazed tubs because their estimates for the plumbing work was "outrageous" (not sure how they thought remodeling would be cheaper since a licensed plumber had to do the hook ups) The tub "refinishers" would break out the drain work and overflows because they couldn't/wouldn't or whatever glaze around things, and they're not licensed to install any of the plumbing work to put it back together. Just thought I'd throw this out there for you, because you may be getting into something you may regret.

Hi @mrsjamc, we have a Kohler (San Raphael) toilet, which we love BTW; it's not right next to the tub, but I feel like the whites work well together. The tub may be a little bit cooler in tone (or maybe it's because the toilet is next to the window, so the light is different). But you'd have to really look to see a difference. Also, I have Waterworks sinks, and that white plays nicely with the tub & toilet. The Kaldewei overflow drain for the klassikduo oval tub (model 113) does not meet my county codes. Can anyone recommend an alternative that is also 2 3/4" in depth (at the overflow) or narrower? The kohler pureflo cable bath drain my plumber wants to install does not fit as it extends out 4" and hits the deck top.

You need to contact American Standard and maybe look at a new installer if the one you have has not done that already . If you want any help here you need to post pictures .
