They are nature's garbage men! I live near a park with mature trees that is sandwiched at the intersection of two busy roads. The turkey vultures settle in on a garage roof across from the park a block from the intersection and just have a buffet! They are magnificent.

I have those that hang out in my front yard,they like to sit on top of the hummingbird feeder.I didn't know they were good fly catchers though. Kathi

Just saw one on the ground tonight. These birds only showed up around here several years ago, but lots of them are here all the time now.........drinking their tea. :)
