Sans cylindrica spear yellowing from top down
Comments (11)Thanks all! Greg, I am in zone 7. Michael, all my cylindricas are in my sunroom which receives bright light throughout the day. It is faily cool in there in the winter. The frequency in which I water them is very similar to yours however, I water about once a month more like November to March. Of course I do water more frequently the rest of the year. I have not a clue how to post a picture and unfortunately the next week will be crazy since I will be back in school. I will do so as soon as I have some time. In addition, I did not cut the spear. The spear is still not mushy so I am almost positive it is not overwatering. The yellowing is however, continuing farther down the spear. I will cut it and apply the cinnamon as planned. Thanks again for all your insight, since it is greatly appreciated. Lorrr Just...See MoreSuperb Swap from San Antonio!!
Comments (37)RobinKate, I absolutely agree, the best use for those sweet pickles of Linda Lou's is sliced on a fish sandwich. Yum. I made a couple of batches of them this year, I love them. Lucky Deanna. The blue plate is perfectly lovely, I like that seafoam blue color really well. I supppose you COULD put the pickles in there, but I wouldn't. I'd just eat 'em out of the jar and save the pretty dish for something else. LOl Annie...See MoreEaster Cookies with help from San and Doucanoe
Comments (15)RR, they grow so quickly, I want to have pictures so I can remember when I was still the center of the universe for The Princess, and when Bruvver would still climb on my lap and kiss me. I want to remember that "Alfalfa" cowlick Bruvver always has, and Makayla's curls. Gotta take pictures, Maggie will be in college before you can blink! Linda, that cookie cutter is the only thing that will ever get Makayla to eat a carrot, I swear. (grin) Or a rabbit either, for that matter, LOL. Jim, Makayla rides Copenhagen every chance she gets but Bruvver is happiest on a tractor. Or a loader. Or the bulldozer. LOL He loves to go "two tracking" with the Jeep and his sister is happier on horseback. I'm also happier on horseback but when I sold that little old Allis Chalmers C model that Dad and I put together from parts in boxes, I cried. I loved that tractor, even if it did need a new throw-out bearing (which cost $20 for the part cut you had to crack the tractor in half to replace, LOL). Yup, definitely had to make a tractor cookie, even if I didn't have Allis Chalmers orange cookie dough.... Annie...See MoreHello, a new Sans fan is born !
