I found my knobs $ 10.00 a piece less at Cape Cod Brass. The pictures were great on-line and for $12.00 more, they shipped to me in two days. Everywhere else they were sky high and I thoroughly researched where to get them at a discount. I went to local stores to touch and feel them - then when I knew what I wanted, I saved alot of money buying them on line. I am still surprized how many knobs I needed for my kitchen! Good luck.

I ordered undercabinet fluorescent lights from CSN Lighting last July, and had a couple of problems with the order. First their website listed one price for the units, but when I select the items and proceded to the checkout, a different (and of course higher) price was used for calculating the total. Then, when I called to get the price problem straightened out, I specifically asked whether fluorescent tubes were included with the lights since the website said (and still to this day says) "This undercabinet fluorescent light bar is the latest in undercabinet lighting, complete with energy efficient T5 fluorescent lamps." which really suggests that the lamps would be included. Whereas the PDF specifications file from the lamp manufacturer noted that the lamps were not included. So, the person I talked to checked and said that the fluorescent tubes would be included with the lamps. When the shipment arrived, no fluorescent tubes. After several subsequent calls to them I was unable to get the matter straightened out, so I ordered the tubes from elsewhere and have decided to not give any more business to CSN Lighting (or any of the dozens of other CSN stores) My main lighting for the room, I ordered monorail track lighting from Arcadian lighting, and had a much better online shopping experience. They honored their 110% price match guarantee without batting an eyelash, and the person I dealt with there (Tony Lin) was extremely helpful. The order was shipped with two incorrect items, and Tony noticed it before the package arrived, and immediately shipped a separate package with the right items, and a prepaid shipping label to return the wrong items.

We just had the same experience (seller even took the curtain rods, arghhhh) and got petite cell honeycomb blinds and durawood blinds from Smith & Noble. They have great instructions for measuring, the site is good for customizing and we did get some swatches. HOWEVER, while I thought the quality was excellent, prices good, site usable, I found their customer service less than stellar. Be prepared to argue if you order online with some sort of a discount, and double check your statements to be certain you get the right price. In the end it all worked out for us but their poor customer service soured an overall satisfying experience for us. Good luck! Mary

I did plantation shutters and was amazed at the price difference from place to place. I ended up with a local dealer for Hunter Douglas and most of the other well known brands. He told me he increased his customer base because he was able to decrease his price greatly and still make a decent price due to no overhead. I actually found him on CL but checked through BBB and several references. His prices were a lot less than JCPenney's "sale" prices. I found Home Depot and Lowe's to be the most expensive although I know others who have shopped there and have been happy. I was absolutely shopping for the best price. I'm in NC so if that is any help to you, let me know and I'll send you his name. The Shutters themselves were from Southern Custom Shutters or something similar. I went with the faux wood and love the clean look of them.
