how to quickly reach the end of a long GW thread
Comments (6)All I have to do is wait for the entire thread to "load" (if there are embedded pictures and the thread is long this can take decent amount of time!) and then hit "end". No need for the "control/Alt." combination in conjunction... It took me a fair piece of time to pick that one up, too... ! ;)...See MoreQ: thread ends
Comments (16)Lynn, My machine doesn't have a "FIX" feature. Before I figured the feed dogs down trick...I set my stitch length to "0" & stitched a few stitches & then switched it back to 2.5. Well, you can imagine the pain that was since I have a comp. machine & the stitch button only moves .5 each click. 5 clicks down - stitch - 5 clicks up... Grrr... Then it hit me that I could drop my feed dogs with a click & put them back up with a click. Easier than the previous technique & cheaper than buying a new machine. :) I'll have to try & remember to bring the bottom thread up when I start & reinforce that way. I did try that today, & my bobbin thread is a darker color & ended up showing on the top. I might stop doing that if that continues....See MoreFor Crafteedee-thread ends
Comments (4)I used to do that, but it was such a pain to push the button 5x down each time I wanted to stitch in place & then push the button 5x up to stitch at 2.5. It got annoying & when I was starting & stopping a lot. Can be a pain. I found that the feed dog change was easier since I have a handy switch. Didn't have to move my hand around until I was ready to sew. Thanks for the suggestion though!...See Morescroll button request
