Yes, it hangs in my home. Portraits of him, his sister, and his mother were all painted at the same time, and hung in his parents' home a long time ago. I'd lost track of them, and hadn't thought about his in years when my son found it in the barn! He hung it in my house without telling me that he'd found it. I came home that day and was doing something near the painting when it caught my eye. To say I was startled was an understatement! LOL

Going through some of my very old photos, and this was one of the few I'd forgotten. This dachshund was quite a character; exhibiting a typical dachshund's idea of fun.

The gardens have been transformed into a winter wonderland - beautiful! Annie, the only thing better than chocolate would be gold covered chocolate - almost too pretty to eat! Igmd, I love how the birds tails can be seen poking out from under the snow covered shelter of the feeders. I'm sure the birds appreciate it! Looks inviting, Jim. Street food is the best and I think one of the best ways to experience local food as well. It hasn't been all prettied up for the tourists and is the real deal.
