Can't get my favorites back.

Thought I posted this, but I don't know where it ended up. My son was messing around putting me on gmail and I lost my favorites. Want to put them on Google Chrome but have no idea of how to go about it. and he lives in North Carolina and was just home on a business trip. Thanks for any help. Unfortunately, I know only what I am interested doing, like cooking, gardening and stuff like that. Thanks Barb

How many did you have? if not a lot, then just search for the website, then add to favs. And maybe you'll discover some new really good ones.

Depending on which version of Windows your computer runs, the Favorites file location will either be located under C:\Users\[User Name]\Favorites (Windows 7 and Windows Vista) or C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Favorites (Windows XP).

In Windows 10 the folder location is here,
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default

Check to see if the folder is actually empty, if it is you're out of luck.

In some cases system restore will save account data so it's worth a shot trying.

If you just want the aroma, and don't necessarily need it in candle form, check the link below. It is to a website that lists fragrances for soaps and candles, grouped by TYPE of fragrance. The link is to the B scents, but see the note that Balsam (and Balsam Fir) can also be found under these scent categories: Cranberry Balsam Â Cranberry Balsam (type) Â Fir Balsam Â Mistletoe & Balsam Â Northwoods Balsam Pine Â Windsong Balsam Pine. Can't get the bobbin holder back in:

dody40 - This interests me so much that I hauled out my old T&S and had a look inside. The bright silver bobbin case sits so that the upraised lever in your picture (the part that snaps into the bobbins center is at the 6 o'clock position. In your second photo there is a dark gray clip off to the right side - in my machine that part moves over and snaps down to lock the bobbin case into position. My machine is from the 600 series and is a bit different from yours but from what I see the bobbin casing etc. seem to be the same. I might also ask that you check to make sure your bobbin winder (the button with the bullseye is not engaged - push it to the right to see if it is completely unsnapped - also shove your slide plate into postion over the bobbin casing a few times just to make sure. I will ask my DH to copy how to replace the bobbin from my manual for you when he has a moment. Don't worry between us all we will figure it out - fingers crossed. Budster.

The shower will work same as ever. That part only stop's water draining from tub. You can likely adjust the old part. That's why the rod is threaded and has a lock nut. Just "jiggle it"and don't apply a lot of force while pulling out and re-inserting or you risk bending it..

Barb,

Are you moving from another Browser to Google Chrome? If so, most Browsers these days make it very easy to Copy your Favorites. I have moved my Favorites from Internet Explorer to Edge, Google Chrome & Firefox by just making a few clicks in each Browsers Settings.

BTW, Zep is right about where the Files should be located on the computer and you can check there.

Thanks everybody. I will get all of this Christmas stuff over with and then sit down and concentrate. My granddtr and youngest son are both the most savvy about this tech stuff and I learn only when forced to.--much to my dismay. God bless and Merry Christmas. Barb
