Jeopardy (the TV show) tonight

Tonight was the first time I ever cried at the end of a Jeopardy episode. In case you haven't watched it yet tonight, that's all I'll say.

Alisande, I was going to tell you last week when I first read about it, knowing that you watch Jeopardy regularly. It was so sad to watch her, day after day.

She was a good player, in spite of what she was going through.

I've been reading about it, but don't watch the show (or game shows). My mother does, I imagine she will be watching (pacific coast time)

Oh man...wish I would have known this while I was watching it last night!! We watch alot of TRU TV.....heck everything else is mostly reruns or 'reality' (yuck) TV...."not reality TV, it's actuality" lol! They have some pretty good shows on there. Will he be on the other ones too? LOVE to see some of those cops....there are cops that are good at their job...then there are cops out that just want to PROVE to everyone they are a cop! (egos!!!)

Alisande, I'm sorry you missed the show. It was as Janie said, wonderful. Very informative on how it all goes together. From the team that makes up the questions to go with the answers to the much more than I imagined process for those aspiring to get chosen as a contestant. I’ll watch for her tonight! My cousin was on Wheel of Fortune 2/28, she had filmed it late in January. Yes, the contestants can not tell anyone how they finished. I don’t even know if she told her husband? She wasn’t the big winner, but came home with a trip (Costa Rica) and some cash. It was fun watching her. We were texting during the airing and she said she was nervous watching and she already knew how it ended!

I am a regular Jeopardy viewer and I knew about this last week so sad to know that she didn't get to see her appearance aired. But she did get to live out a dream of hers and boy, was she SMART and also a lovely person. RIP.

I knew about it too and cried when I first read about it. It was so amazing to see her win so bravely. I watched today and was glad that Alex Trebek acknowledged her.

Wouldn't you know, dh missed it tonight; it's one of his favorite shows and he'd been cheering her on. I just showed this to him and he was quite shocked. I didn't know about her illness either, and can't believe she could handle appearing just a few weeks before her death. What strength. It was a joy to watch her win, over and over.

I've been reading about her for awhile now and watched her at the gym for three night but missed her last time. What a shame. Such a smart lovely woman.

Since it conflicts with my zumba classes I don't watch it was much as I would like to but happened to watch last night. I didn't know anything about it and normally would have clicked away after the show was over but for some reason I saw the additional comment by Alex Trebeck. Yes , very touching. very sad.

I had read about this when the story was on line 10 days or so ago, but had completely forgotten when the shows with that contestant were to be aired. I did not even consider that it would be her till it was announced at the end of the show last night. Both DH and I were shocked...and saddened. Wonderful that she was able to achieve her dream!

I didn't equate her, with the lady in the news! I read that a week or so ago! Oh darn, we missed last night's episode as well. So heart-breaking.

Wow! I watched last night, but erased the tape before the very end. I had no idea. I was just sad to see her lose. I'm so glad she got to fulfill her dream.
